Although the variance is not what you would want, you have to call this.

very tricky but call. At first I thought it's an easy call this but seeing the other two chipstacks you could easily argue the fold. If CL takes both of you out you still get third so that's fine..if the shortstack has the aces you will probably win the side pot which is bigger than your chipstack currently is.

It's a call.

Ouch.  Looking at the result, you called and you didn't survive, and it looked like the short-stack won the hand, and the big stack the side pot.

Can you lay down kings here?  I don't think I could.  You win the hand, and you're chip leader and it's down to the last three.

Good effort to get into that position in the first place - do you always final table? Grin

Yes... indeed I did call, I wanted to fold, I 'knew' that FTMLS had Aces, but it was half-past midnight and I had had enough really. I figured that only one of them could beat me and at worst I get 3rd place, $450 and a bronze medal. As it was I took $277 for 4th place!! The remainder of the HH...

Insta call, dont get how this is a tough decision tbh. Payout structure need not be considered a factor here, its way too steep.
