They are mic-ing them up now.  Bear with them as they get set to be televised.  There's always a last minute organisational flurry... talk amongst yourselves, great and good.

Could you please ask Jonathan if the 4/1 a blue sq. qualifier winning is still available to a "monkey" ?

Here's a view of the railbirds in action. Front row, right to left as we look, is Mick McCluskey, with a very smart Jonathan Rabb of Blue Square.com sat next to him. The guy next to Jonathan was, shortly after this pic was taken, asked to calm down.

the tv might not to cut anything at this rate

the finish preparing 12 30 am
dealer deals first card 1am
break after each player busts 10 min each
break for buffet 30 mins
card room closes 4 am (to allow the winners to play wheel of death)
might get 50 hands before the finish

Er, they've all stood back up and are filing in again.  I think they wanted a Take Two filmed entrance.  Maybe we didn't clap enough.

So if he's the king of tightingdom, does that make him Tightest End?

I feel bereft.

Director Richard is having a couple of takes at announcing the players, and we've had our applause recorded.  I feel special.  They may begin to play at any moment.

You think Iron is jesting? well hear this then......

They did, at last, bring the players into the arena (from the staff room) one at a time, with TD Richard larging it up on the PA system. "And in seat 1, we have so & so, with xxx.xxx chips, laying in 5th place, having qualified at Luton. And in seat 2.....". Rinse, repeat, 9 times.

Then things got surreal. Some sort of technical hitch with the TV equipment meant that none of this had been recorded.

And would you believe, they then sent all the Finalists out of the room again, & are now repeating the whole malarky.

"and, in seat 1, we have......."

And THEN it got even more bizarre. Problems with the PA system now, so we had to have Rumit introduced 3 times.

We are up to seat 7 now, on lap 3. Talk amongst yourselves please.

has there evver been an end of tourney chip count to see who takes home £100k?

Perhaps you'd better call in Gala Notts for expert advice.
