Rumit just lost about half his stack raising 25,000 and after a tortured dwell, passing to Mick McCloskey's big blind re-raise.

More Paul Dargon news now - Perri Fox OUT after having the misfortune to get it all in with  ah kc against Paul's  ad .
The board came out  asp and he left feeling justifiably unlucky in 20th.

This is the Final Table, all readied for tonight's climax. About £260k up for grabs, & £100k to the winner. When I see the TV Table set up, there's no doubt I feel a tinge of jealousy - I wanna be there, & I think most poker players would get a nice feelling in their willy just to sit at that table, playing for that money.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Some counts from the last 19

Nick Whiten         70,000
Paul Dargon        520,000
Dave Courtney      55,000
Chris Johnson      170,000
Dan Samson         65,000
Stuart Fox          240,000
Rumit Somaiya      40,000
Mick McCloskey    150,000

Oh, it's 18 now - Nick Whiten's KQ just took out short stacked Daniel Watson's QJ meaning that everyone now is guaranteed a £1,000 prize.

ALL poker players have one Heid.

Here's the Sponsor's Banner, which we really ought to show. It has to be said, Grosvenor & Blue Square have done a great job with this comp.

According to his email addy its paul dargan not dargon. Maybe his email address is wrong though. He is fearless and will not lie down so hopefully smithers wont be running resteals on him.

Tighty, no, Dominic is OUT. He was a bit unlucky as I recall, he got wiped out by the steamroller Dargon.

Here's tonight's commentator, the ever youthful Gary Jones, poker's answer to Cliff Richard. He's actually 57.
