I think I spotted another Notts Blonde - Woodsey in the bottom photo of the 1st page. He's got a pink shirt on and is on the nearest table to the camera. Any news on how's he's going? He came 7th in the £500 yesterday for £3k so looks to be on form.

Chip count for Damon Iannou please?

Will check for these during this level.

Of these, I only know the fate of Woodsey, who was sitting next to Thewy in the cash game. He explained he re-raised the serial button raiser with AJ and didn't believe his opponent had a bigger ace when one of the two remaining aces came post flop. Sadly his opponent had it this time, holding Ace Queen. The other two, I've not been able to spot the other two, they're not on the latest chip list so I'm assuming they're out.

Ben Turnstill aka "RookieITB" has knocked out fellow blonde Alex Martin. Ben raised A-Q preflop and Alex pushed with calls, Ben was debating the call until Alex said, "You've taken this long, now I know I'm ahead," which made Ben think he was in a race. He duly called and then rivered the Queen.

Jan Sjavik bet 2k on a two spades and was called, they both checked the turn, before his opponent bet 2k on the river. Jan, shaking his head, in a "I know I'm beat but I can't fold for this little because I want to see what crappy filth you sucked out on me, you fishy bugger," kind of way. At least that's what it looked like to me.

His opponent showed and Jan flashed still shaking his head.

Chris Bruce has 30k, buoyed by raising with Aces and having a short-stack push with Kings behind him.

Apologies for the lack of updates from my end, blonde has been running a little slowly for me, although the tables have not been filled with action.

79 players remain, the average is a shade under 20,000 and the blinds 200 400.

Plenty of play in theory although players definitely seem to be in "consolidation" mode at the moment, with many pots uncontested preflop, either being passed round or a single raise taking it down.

Pots of note include Ian Woodley raising to 1200 from early position, announcing "I'm not passing." A re-raise from Burnley John Falconer (sorry couldnt see how much but a decent amount) made a liar of him as he passed after a bit of banter with John , showing pocket 77. John showed KK. Poker players don't alf tell some porkies sometimes...

Also Roberto was seen punching the air as he hit a T on the river to win a pot with his AT, announcing well that call ad valyoooo you knoooo. I assume he was behind although his opponent's cards were mucked by the time i arrived....

Comical moments in the cardroom include Barry Neville being video interviewed for one of the online sites, and having a lollipop accurately thrown at his head by a brave bystander during the interview....

....Flushy loudly requesting someone to stake him in the cash "crash" game he is currently involved in with Paul Jackson. For the first time all evening perhaps, a deathly hush befell the cardroom......

....Roberto told his table a joke which I would like to repeat although it is almost certainly non - blonde compliant. I will say it involves a bald man, his doctor, a supermarket, an unusual cure for baldness and a lady. You'll have to fill in the msising pieces yourself

Roberto Romanello is OUT.

After good showings in previous GUKPTs he has been eliminated in 75th (or thereabouts) place out of today's competitors, in a 99 v TT coup. The exact details of the hand are not available to me just yet but I'll try to garner more useful information when I'm in the cardroom....

Most of the comical moments today have revolved around Barry Neville, but nothing was funnier than the "joke" told by Skunk on why he has that nickname. I'll leave it to Colchester Kev to spill the beans (so he doesn't have to edit my post again!)

Mick McCluskey is out....Tony Ringe's AT holding versus Mick's KQ, I'm guessing as it went in preflop there was some sort of  buttonage/blindage action, but again I'll see I can flesh out this skeletal description with the skin, tissue and vital organs of the hand, when I get down to the cardroom.

Blinds are 300/600/75

Ronnie Debeaulox just shoved with when ubershort, called by , he was rewarded with a flop to double him up.

Xuyen Vladar just bet 4k on the river of a board and was called, she showed to take down a 20k pot.

Jan Sjavik is out, pushed on a board, his opponent eventually made a very good call with , as he was ahead of Jan's three clubs , who failed to hit set or gutshot.

Warren Wooldrige raises in EP to 2.2k, Ian Woodley calls.

Flop:

Woolridge checks, Woodley bets 3.1k, Woolridge calls.

Turn:

Both players check.

River:

three diamonds

Now Woolridge bets 5.5k and Woodley mucks.

Incidentally I spotted Michael Muldoon, not out apparently and actually quite healthy, he claimed Willie Tann was destroying his table earlier. Michael had been moved and was now, "doing a Carlos" with his stack. IMHO, the bottom here shows great and original promise but the top is just slack frankly. B+ for originality but only a C+ for effort.

Chris Bruce and RookieITB have been moved to the same table, which also has this gentleman, Alan Vinnicombe, one of the chip leaders on it.

Quote from Barry Neville, "If they brought int' chef from Newcastle, I tell ya, everyone would be as fat as me."

An interesting and unfortunate hand developed between Brian Johnson and mateyboy. Involved in a pot to the river, mateyboy bet the river and instead of calling, Brian Johnson turned his pocket kings face up without pushing his chips over the line.

Ruling his cards were mucked.

Brian Johnson shook his head sadly at his error of protocol. He wanted to call, he meant to call but he did it wrong and the rules are the rules so he was left nursing a microstack, shaking his head and sitting gloomily with an almost visible cloud of despair hanging over his head. No surprise when 5 -10 minutes later he busted out...
