The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

idiotic journalism at its very best....
how can a poker cliub be bad for an area ?
its a bit like asking "would a new swimming pool be bad for nottingham ?" - only for non swimmers...

It is nice to see the creative types actually read the articles in the paper thay are writing to.
One chap wrote a poem about the "New Casino", see DTD, and the woes it could cause. We first thought it may have been written about one of the 2 new casinos, but no, in the poem it states "made use of a disused building,".

A cracking achievement Rob and co, well done on all your success.
On a sidenote, and I apologise if this has been asked before, but does having your own online cardroom hamper potential deals with organistations such as the EPT and WPT?

Doesn't hosting a WPT event put the mockers on hosting a televised event for any other organisation under Liscomb's normal conditions?

Non league football, brilliant.
I used to work for Colne Dynamos going back a few years, they were the only pro team outside the 4 english divisions at the time, Alan Kennedy ex Liverpool was there playing at the time and the club enjoyed some good success. I worked in the commercial side with Paul Fletcher (ex bolton player) and now working for Coventry City... fond memories indeed. And non league club fans are the salt of the earth, look after them Rob.
Good luck with it.
