Good luck to Ian Woodley, he's a mouthy git and a total fish, but a decent lad overall.

The cards are in the air - the TV table was remarkably efficiently sent on its way, and the final seven tables are busy trying to reduce their number.

A reminder of the payouts, with the first eliminated (which has already happened) guaranteed €10,500:

1    1,170,700
2    673,000
3    388,800
4    301,000
5    250,800
6    196,500
7    154,700
8    104,500
9    64,800
10    64,800
11    46,000
12    46,000
13    33,450
14    33,450
15    25,100
16    25,100
17-24    20,900
25-32    16,700
33-40   14,650
41-48    12,550
49-56    10,500

Dani Stern is our first casualty, the leader of Day 1, was all-in with K-Q against the Eights of Giovanni Spadavecchia. An eight hit the flop and that was enough, a small round of applause from the rail probably no consolation.

Hi Jen and Flops,
Good job, as usual. Could you say well done and good luck for me to two Irish players on table 2, "Vesty" and Desi Higgins. Thanks.

I'd take the applause over the money any day.

Pictured is Mohamad Kowssarie, chip leader starting today.  The stacks have been made slightly less unweildy by the addition of some nondescript brown 5k chips, but his stack is still impressive.  I personally think that as higher denom chips come into play they should become progressively more garish in colour, so the eye is caught by the dayglo orange 5k, and perhaps the neon blue 10k, while 25k chips should have spinning rims.

A spate of exits now, very hard to keep up with, and write the details of players we don't know, so we don't have to refer to them as 'Mateyboys'.

JM Garde ends up all-in with against Michael Wong's . Pete Giordano passes his two hearts Two Diamonds face in the face of the all-ins.

Board:

two spades

Pete had a look of disgust until the river, but then exclaimed, "Well, I saved myself fifty thousand."

JM Garde who is a real ringer for Robert Downey Jr, is OUT.

Joining him on the rail, is Mark Vos. His Nines lost out to Dag Martin Mikkelsen's Ace Jack.

APAT Champ Phil Starrs is out too, he held against but the eight spiked.

Jerome Ferron busts with A-Q against Kees Alblas' A-K. The Queen came, but so did a Jack and a Ten.

Fabrice Soulier doubles through Christopher Ulsrud with Ace King against Sixes. Couldn't see the board from the other side of the room, but the Frenchman was pretty chuffed.

The first five out, confirmed by Mad and Pokerstars are:

56 - Daniel Stern (USA)
55 - Phil Starrs (UK)
54 - Jesus Manuel Garde (Spain)
53 - Jerome Ferron (France)
52 - Cort Kibler-Melby (Germany)

Hmmm Jen - maybe we should avoid the herbal woodbines for a little while?? Me personally I would prefer the chip denominations to reverse in value as they are introduced so that my ever dwindling stack stack always looks impressive!

Great updates of course - as usual!
