Mark Teltscher is nigh on unstoppable today; it looks like he's taken the chip lead and broken the 400k mark, taking out his tablemates in an indiscriminate frenzy of elimination... Mr. Higgins fell to him just now - some unlucky against his , and Daniel Dodet added his chips to Teltscher's like a garnish of thyme on a whole roast cow.  Dodet moved in on the button with his and Mark called in the blinds with .
Flop:    Daniel Dodet standing up...
Turn:    It's already Overkill...

He also knocked out Katja Thater with Queens vs Kings.

Juan Maceiras, the last remaining Spaniard, next to the Wall of Wendt.

Michael Greco looking at his stack, hopefully thinking he's misplaced a few 5k chips or something.

A early shot of table 2, pre Dani Stern, Katja Thater and J Higgins exit. Mark Teltscher remains though

Fabrice Soulier

Overview of the tournament. Still tough to get access though.

Most hands now at all-in pushes, it's very rare to have something played down the streets.

The only one I spotted was a hand between Adam Junglen and Nikolaus Jedlicka

Adam bet 12k on the flop and was called by Nikolaus. The turn was a possible action creating , but Junglen check/folded to the 20k bet from Jedlicka.

Finally Daniel Negreanu has entered the pressroom. He must have had twenty coffees before he came though, I've never heard a man talk so fast.

Pete Giordano is now chip leader having won a large pot from Mohamad Kowssarie, the latter is apparently the fabled 'Fast Freddy' incidentally.

Sylvester 'Vesty' Geoghegan -- 90k
Tronde Eidsvig -- 212k

Borge Dypuik -- 91.6k
Pete Giordano -- 346.5k
Mika Paasonen -- 483.6k

But hark! Action is afoot!

Ola moves all-in, Pete Giordano calls

My three picks are still in.  As well as Monsieur Soulier (pictured above) here are Philip Yeh and Jan Sjavik, both firmly wedged into the middle of the chip counts.

Just before the break, the pot which transferred a good chunk of Mohamad Kowssarie's stack to Pete Giordano involved a board like this (which I only caught from the turn): three diamonds three clubs
Giordano bet out 35k (in brown 5k chips) and Kowssarie on the button promptly raised it to 120k (in blue 1k chiptowers).  Pete Giordano chatted gently to himself, "Those ares stacks of thirty...countdown... We're at the next blind level..." and then moved in, a further 85,400 exactly for Kowssarie to call.  Instapass.
"You're not gonna lay down a Queen," volunteered Pete the Beat, "You're gonna lay down nothing!"  We may never know.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen (on the button) got involved with small blind Thomas Fjelleheim, betting 11,500 on a flop of three diamonds.  Fjelleheim called.
Turn:    Check once more to Mikkelsen, who bet 22,500, but wasn't prepared to match the 76k total offered by Fjelleheim as he promptly check-raised all in.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Michael Greco, short stacked for over 48 hours now, was last spotted across the room hovering amongst those playing the €300 PLO Rebuy event going on today.  It then became clear that he was actually playing this event at the same time as the EPT Main Event, crossing languidly back and forth while his chip stack gradually dwindles still further without ever actually disappearing altogether.  I am now going to go back to the rail and watch until I see the Dusk Till Dawn sponsored player actually play a hand - I will accept an Omaha one if all else fails.
