A couple of pictures for those who are still gamely online even though no poker is scheduled for another 40 minutes:

Early table featuring (left to right): Pete Giordano (black cap), Tronde Eidsvig (red patches), Alexander Roumelis (pink), Michael Wong and Mohamad Kowssarie.  They are no longer sitting in anything like these positions, but I don't think all of these have been featured, and this photo was in focus.

NEW FEATURE TABLE
In seat order -

Juan Maceiras
Martin Wendt
Javed Abrahams
Henrik Jensen
Philip Yeh
Adam Junglen
Nikolaus Jedlicka

Definitely pleased this is the table getting live fed onto a plasma screen in the press room.  Although the tint of the screen is such that they all look like they have been indulging heavily in game show host style fake tan.  Picture coming if I can get one.

Here are some shots from floor level right before the restart...

Nikolaus Jedlicka takes a pretty chunky pot from Juan Maceiras, who raised the river with the board showing from 35k to 80k, called by Jedlicka with a in his hand which saw off Maceiras' Two Clubs.  "You got it," said the Spanish player as he left himself short stacked after a very odd hand which saw a 6k flop bet and a 20k turn bet (both called) before the healthier river action.  He and Javed Abrahams have both pushed preflop a couple of times - no takers.

Juan Maceiras, having pushed all in twice preflop, does it a third time with a stack of 67,400.  A little more dwelling, but again he gets it through.

The blinds went up during all of that TVtable non-action - they are now 2,500/5,000 ante 500.  Colouring up the 100 chips.  Bear with us.

Pictured: ex-TV tablers Patrick Bruel and Greg Dyer, deposed to the 'regular' tournament area with their spectators jostling by the ropes rather than lined up in orderly rows on bleachers.

Michael Greco has doubled up again, he's on 50k after calling a raise with Q-T, hitting both on the flop and being set in by 9-6.

Sylvester Geoghegan manages to escape from Queens, but maybe he's wishing he didn't.

He raised from the high-jack to 12k, Mark Teltscher made it 32k from the small blind and then Daan Ruiter moved in from the big blind.

The Irishman passed his Queens with the manner of someone who loves chocolate cake but is on a diet, and Teltscher made the call, "You got aces?" he asked.

"Yes," was the reply from the Dutchman.

A slight facial contortion from the big-stacked Brit along with a deep sigh as he flipped his Kings.

Board:

"Oh well, never mind." said Sylvester. "I had to pass."

Teltscher's stack is damaged by 114k being passed over to Ruiter, who is close to the quarter million mark now.

Bjorn Erik Glenne, last year's EPT Barcelona winner, is OUT. Aditya Agarwal's held against his on a Two Clubs two spades three diamonds board.

Two of my picks have clashed as Dag Martin Mikkelsen has doubled through Christopher Ulsrud, all the money going on the turn of a board, Ulsrud holding Ace-Ten, but Dag holding the very nutty . No 9 comes to chop the river, and DM Mikkel, who had been grinding for a bit, is now up to 250k.

Ian Woodley -- 110k

Short stack Juan Maceiras all-in with against equally short Grant Mitchell Martin Wendt's

Board:

A huge cheer from the Spanish fans. Martin is left with very little chips and is all-in next hand.

Javed raises to 14k next hand and everyone passes.

Javed:

Martin:

Board:

three diamonds

And Martin has Wendt and gone.

Knockouts Galore:

Firstly, this guy standing up, Eric Hardt, was just eliminated (incidentally, this is who I confused for Ola before, sorry) - he pushed all in preflop over the 15k preflop bet of Mohamad Kowssarie (also pictured, fortuitously).  Mohamad called with and was up against .  A King came to cement his aheadness and we were down to 32...

Then fell shortstacked Ryan Jones, small blind in his last hand.  He called all in with after button Michael Wong shoved first - with as it happened.  Big blind Kees Alblas had toyed with his before sensibly binning it - he would have won on a board which came out Two Clubs .  Instead Wong almost doubles up at the expense of Ryan Jones.

I'm not sure exactly what was going on here, but I do know that Ian Woodley has about 110k and gives Snoopy's guns a run for their money.  Check the nervous smile on neighbour Kitai Davidi Jacob's face as he files Woodly under "unstable."

Javed Abrahams pushes preflop - again - and gets a call this time from Nikolaus Jedlicka.  His stack is around 50k)

I caught up with Michael Greco for about two minutes, which is how long it took him to get his entire 14,500 stack in - again.  "The grinder is still in!" he remarked, cheerfully, seemingly as surprised at his shortstack holding as the rest of his table.  He quickly shoved in early position, and found neighbour Mark Teltscher mini-raising to 23,500 after him (which made big blind Sylvester Geoghegan lose interest despite his prior declaration that he would likely have to "call you blind...").  Button Alessio Isaia called, and that left three of them to see the flop:
two hearts   Check to Alessio, who bet Mark Teltscher off, showing which was ahead of Greco's .
Turn:
River:

And the valiant run of the Dusk Till Dawn player comes to an end.  In this tournament.  He has a 20k stack in the Omaha.  Smiley

These recent eliminations are in the €16,700 prize bracket, incidentally (32nd to 25th places) but it goes up any second.  I think Henrik Jensen might have finished 25th just now, getting it in with two hearts against Nikolaus Jedlicka's ... A King on the flop, drawing dead by the turn.  Next!  The pace is frantic...

Slightly wired-looking Irishman Sylvester Geoghegan has a sudden 240k in chips - this picture is slightly out of date - a high point for the tournament so far and definitely a good stack by any standards.  He had a bit of luck getting it all in preflop with (pushing after Teltscher raised to 15k, Mohamad Kowssarie called and he saw an opportunity...) and finding the original raiser with some calling Kings.  Ace on the flop, and that's 0 for 2 for Mark Teltscher's Cowboys.

Hi Chris here, my computer is not connecting to the network despite knowing it is there.

We just lost Jan Sjavik after Phillip 'Clap Your Hands Say' Yeh took him on with K-8 against A-2 in a blind on blind battle. The board coming 8-3-Q-9-J. Jen down to two picks, I still have three, mwahahahaha.

However, one of my picks, Dag Martin Mikkelsen just lost a 370k pot with against Sander Lylloff's . Dag raised from EP, Sander re-raised and Dag 3-bet him all in. The board came leaving Dag with just 370k.

Javed Abrahams just lost a chunk doubling up Davidi Kitai with A-Q against A-J. A jack on the flop.
