Jean Baptise Tomi just saw a flop of with late position Mohamad Kowssarie - there was around 80k in the pot preflop, but I don't know whether Tomi just called a raise or was himself a raiser... so let's skip to the flop action:
Tomi bet out three blue stacks equalling 60k.  Flat call from Kowssarie.
Turn:    Tomi shoves, for around 160k... Instacall!
Tomi shows:
Kowssarie shows:    leaving his opponent drawing dead to the river.  A big stack of chips changes hands; they shake hands- Jean Baptiste Tomi is OUT.
"Pretty nice flop," comments astute railbird Nicolas Levi, sagely.
"Sick," adds Arnaud Mattern.

After much head-scratching, shoulder-shrugging and bizarre-at-computer ranting until I was more blue in the face than the 1k chip, I have my connection back. So I can now post photos from earlier. Finally.

Michael Greco's chips pointed the way they eventually went...Across the table to Mohamad Kowssarie

DM Mikkel, popping out from behind the dealer.

And here's the rest of his table after the A-K vs A-J 370k pot between DM Mikkel and Sander Lylloff, (the blonde guy standing up). I did have another perhaps better photo of Lylloff, but it didn't have Christopher Ulsrud trying to deep-throat his own stack of chips.

Juan Maceiras is certainly not taking it easy - his chips have been yoyoing and they're right near the line, ready to jump over... a couple of his hands:
He pushes all in from the big blind when small blind Mika Paasonen has a go when it passes round to him... he gets the chips and nonchalantly flips his .

Then he raises to 18k (blinds 3k/6k), called by big blind Greg Dyer (whose stack was looking a little more healthy, nearer 200k).
Flop:  .  Dyer checks, Maceiras bets 40k; call.
Turn:    Greg Dyer immediately moves in, and Juan Maceiras just as immediately passes.

Juan Maceiras is all in the next hand, preflop, uncalled.  I worry that in the time it takes to walk across the casino to the press room and back again all the chips on the table will have gone through the Spanish player's stack in interesting ways.

Adam Junglen just lost a big pot to Juan Maceiras, the remaining Spaniard raised from the cut-off, Junglen re-raised from the button, Maceiras pushed with Kings and Junglen was forced to call with as his opponent flung down his cards with a flourish. The Kings held leaving a vociferous crowd cheering in delight, Maceiras scooped the 270k pot. Adam still has 320k

The 500 chips are now being coloured up in preparation for the 4k/8k/1k level.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen is OUT.

He had K-Q against Juan's A-K on a King high flop, crippling him. Then Adam Junglen raised in mid-position, Dag pushed with , Adam called with .

Board:

Although he's out, you can see him taking one of these tournaments down at a future date.

Sylvester Geogohean is OUT against Nikolaus Jedlicka on the feature table, A-Q vs A-K.

Out in 20/19th: Borge Dypuik, eliminated by Tronde Erik Eidsvig (now a monstrous chip leader, pictured)

Out in 19th/18th:  Javed Abrahams, valiantly shortstacked for a while... Knocked out by Mark Teltscher who raised and faced an all in for around 80k from Javed with - Mark called and his held up.

"After this hand, we will redraw."  This announcement was made at the beginning of this hand, so

Mark Teltscher re-raises all in on a Two Diamonds board, staring into the middle distance as Alessio Isaia thinks about his 80k bet out there on the turn, and his roughly 110k back... it might have been bad timing to try to push the Snapper off a hand.  Clearly not delighted, he calls.
Mark shows
Alessio has for the nut flush draw.

River:

Alessio Isaia finishes in 16th place, winning €25,100.

New TV table lineup:

Tronde Erik Eidsvig
Patrick Bruel
Mika Paasonen
Adam Junglen
Sander Lylloff
Mark Teltscher
Juan Macieras
Davidi Kitai

Sander Lylloff is, apparently, "the best backgammon player around," according to two individual sources.  Danish and a poker playing backgammon expert...remind you of anyone?  And is there any young poker player who doesn't play either backgammon or Magic?  I am also sad to inform you that upon arriving at the Feature Table, Mr. Lylloff put on a hoodie, thus depriving television of his excellent Die Hard style vest.

Patrick Bruel moves in over the top of Juan Maceiras' preflop raise - I suspect this might be the third raise, total...  He has a total of 245k... They banter back and forth in a mixture of Spanish and French.  "Can you talk in English please so I can understand what is going on?" asks Mark Teltscher.  Clearly the answer to this was, 'No,' sa they banter back and forth before Maceiras gives up and passes.
