As with most series of the films 2 and particularly 3 didn't live up to the first one. Hope this is better

Obviously the 1st SAW is the best one, but i still really enjoyed 2 and 3... I still get shivers watching the first one now!

Very imaginative stories, considering how young Leigh Whannel (Adam in the films) is, his horror/thriller writing is superb...

Cary Elwes and his terrible acting actually spoiled the first one for me. And he was so good in the Princess Bride. Sad

1st saw had a huge plot hole, 2 was good 3 was awful. These films try to go for shock value and this is ruining plot and character.

But the new film from the makers of saw looks good, the revenge one with Kevin Bacon

I can t remember but about 20 mins from the end i dawned on me and a friend, so i havent watched it again. Also the guy didnt need to cut his foot off. He could have cut his tendons at front and back, it would allow him to point his toes manually and slip out of the chain. Also why saw through the chain when you could saw through the pipe, The pipe was alot softer than bone.

Its one of those films that if you don't like people think your mad, Its a bit like thinking friends is unwatchable.

Think your looking a bit too close at the plot there but i guess your right... I think if you looked at every film this closly you'd never be satisfied with any plot!

Now i do agree with you there...

His acting drove me crazy, but didn't ruin the film.  Not like Knightley and Bloom in POTC!!! Why he insists on shouting every line is beyond me!  And don't get me started with her ridiculous pouting!
