Our attention might be drifting between tikay talking anecdotes and working hard from the sofa in the press room and the EPT Live feed but we know a big hand when it happens, and this was one:  Greg Dyer raised, Sander Lylloff re-raised and in a matter of seconds Greg was all in and facing the of Lylloff with his .  Having held on, dwindling and doubling, with a tenacity which deserves his nice payday, Greg's final board came down:
three diamonds Two Clubs......Irrelevantrivercard

So Greg Dyer is eliminated in 3rd place, winning €388,800

Are we talking Old Boy style live seafood consumption?  Because if we are I second that.  It would totally liven up the press room, and give Floppy that kind of psycho aura I believe he's secretly desired for many years.

It may be having watched too many of these, but I can't help but wonder if the little break Mark and Sander just took involved some deal making...seeing as the top two prizes are, may I remind you: €1,170,700 and €673,000...

"Play for VICTORY!" announced Teltscher as they restarted play heads up, which doesn't do anything to reduce my suspicion of deals...

I was thinking more of live bait, to attract the sharks.

The chips are in Sander Lylloff's favour:  3,658,000 to 1,765,000.   But for every extra chip Sander has, Mark talks for half a minute.  I don't know if that evens them out on some level.

A little annoying. The banter makes you think they have had a private deal.

Well, Mark Teltscher is so hyper that at least he can't ever be accused of slowrolling - his "CALL!" all in preflop with came a split second after Sander made The Big Raise...with .

Flop:
Turn:
River:

So Mark Teltscher, coming so close to making history by becoming a double EPT champ, doesn't - 2nd for (officially) €673,000

And so Sander Lylloff is the Pokerstars.com EPT Barcelona Champion, winning €1,170,700

The first words of the new EPT Champion, interviewed by Kara Scott:
"You've just won the EPT, you must feel brilliant."
"What?"
(repeat sim.) "I was a bit lucky there."

Sander deserves it if it's true that he and Mark are room-mates  Roll Eyes

A quick few post-competition photos.

Big TK announces that Sander Lylloff is..."from Copenhagen, Norway..."

Oops.

Mark Teltscher, so near. Although in the pressroom, he's bouncing off the ceiling like a gerbil on a lot of caffeine.

A quick Q&A dominated by the hyperactive Englishman begins in the press room, Jen has details...

It's Q&A time in the press room now as Mark and Sander take the stage (literally - the press room is usually a nightclub).

To Mark:  "Why didn't you win?"
"I got all my money in with a pair of Kings against Jack Ten.  90%...10% (Pause)  But if anyone could win instead of me it's this very good friend of mine. I am very very happy for my friend that he's won this tournament."  They both seem touchingly sincere in their mutual congratulations.

Sander doesn't say much in front of the big crowd of journalists, but he seems to be chatting away to individuals with dictaphones.  Mark allots the press a half hour for questions, and everyone starts to wind down...

I think the next step is to
