Hope u didnt educate him

I find extreme sarcasm works better here

I find agreeing with them is better.

Something along the lines of "Sorry mate just got lucky there. I'm on a bit of a roll today I bust AK with A9 and bust AA with pocket 5's earlier too"   Grin

2/4 game on laddies i have c600 and other guy has 400 ish

Can only remember basic details but hand wnet as follows

I am in cut off with JJ and raise to 20 preflop
Button calls - no one else left in hand

Flop 68Q - two diamonds i think
I bet 40 ish and he calls

Turn Q

I bet 100 he calls

River J (woohoo)

I bet 100, he reraises to 269 and I call

He has 66 for 666QQ, and I have JJJQQ and he went on about my bad play - I pointed out that 2/3 of money went in when he was behind

Was the abuse justified?

what was he saying was bad about it?

raise on cut off with JJ - nowt wrong with that

Pot size bet on flop - maybe a wee bit too big a bet but that's nit picking. A continution bet here is perfectly fine

Bet on the turn - For me this is the only really debatable move you made. When he calls your bet on the flop there is a very good chance he either has a Q or he is on a flush draw. So the Q on the turn has to be seen as a scare card by yourself.

All in on the river - This plays itself so nothing wrong there.

So what was he actually saying you did wrong?

He's probably just hacked off that he played it cute and you hit a 2 outer on the river

I kinda ruled out a Q as I reckon he would've reraised my continuation bet so it was either an over pair or set. The Q on turn gave me chance to represent the Q and scare him off an overpair but once he called I wasn't putting any more in the pot, unless I hit the river as he was not scared of the second Q and I thought he probably had the set
