The turn up and hope option seems a bit poor.   What time do registrations open at?   I can't believe it's not possible to implement a system where you book your seat in advance to the regional events.

You reckon there'll be 80 people queuing to get into a regional APAT event at midday?  I seriously doubt it.  That means that they will be accessible to all.  Might be a bit out of the way for some, but leave early to avoid disappointment.

Same as last season.  You want in, you get in.

APAT does have a hell of a lot more members now but I hope you're right.  I'm not overly keen to trek up to London only to miss out on getting in, it's a pain of a trip at the best of times.

Not long to go till I find out now, quite looking forward to it too.

I'm equidistant from Brighton and London - anybody want to hazard a guess as to which will be the quieter?

I want to maximise my chances of a seat Smiley

to maximise your chance of a seat

do what i do take one with you

but if you mean a place in the comp

the place that is quieter will be easier to get a seat in the regional but they will have less seats in the nationals to play for

well i'm planning on going to the 1st regional in edinburgh next saturday...

Now i aint 100% sure how this works but this seems to be a sat to the english championship plus any layover in cash gets paid to lower finishes

but with 3000 chips and a 30 minute clock it will be good experience whatever happens

Just have to work out when to queue from?

Do you guys think i should be there very early?I'm serious( lol ) with only 80 players in and a 1430 kickoff?

wot u think from 9 in the morning?lol

GL to all in attendance

Usually the casinos open at midday don't they (at the earliest?), and I can't imagine (m)any queuing from that early to get in to play a regional APAT event.

We'll publish opening details for the casinos for the regionals next week

If any problems crop up with the arrangements, we'll review after the first few events
