The huge c/raise all-in with Aces on the K-Q-J board is just as terrible as I remember it.

anyone else been unimpressed with the standard of play so far?

The check raise all in with AA was soo bad, what did he think the guy would call with, unless he had a set or str8 that is. AK was a no no as he would of re raised preflop.

A pure moment of madness imo.

Was nice to see Roberto's hole cards, I have played with him a few times and watched him a few more, but without the benefit of his hole cards. My thoughts were confirmed tonight, that he is not as loose as his mouth - Lovely bloke though and very entertaining - his speech play is one of the best I have seen for a while now. He uses (on purpose me thinks) his "cocky/arrogant" mannerism (which is on the poker table only though) to get people to pay him off when he hits hands

Spoilt it for me was VC kept talking about she got nocked out, LIKE I CARE!!!! SHE hit runner runner with 99 vs my AA to put me out 4 minutes left of day 1 (just as no one else cares about that lol)

I think Greco could of got a few xtra chips when that guy let him hit runner runner str8, instead of moving all in.

But what do I know? Ive not made the TV table,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, yet!!

played with steve craig and hoss a few times now and tonight highlighted my view that they are the biggest two stations on the circuit. Can't believe hoss didnt fire on the 788 flop, or better still CR. Murthy made a huge error of judement on the worse flop possible for AA, and paid the price. The rest of the play was standard.
Really disappointed of the amount of hands they are showing per show. Too many commercial breaks (12 minutes in total) too much dougie anderson, forget the bad-beat box, and please ditch the grounbreaking technology (see gukpt trailer) pokerscope, which is, to all intents and purposes a fkin bar chart.

Apart from that i really enjoyed it.

please ditch the grounbreaking technology (see gukpt trailer) pokerscope, which is, to all intents and purposes a fkin bar chart.

Have to disagree, it's not the way it's displayed on screen that is supposed to be "revoltuiionary" it's the fact that they log every single hand at the final and can use the data in a variety of ways. I think the snippets that are shown are very interesting and certainly add something to the coverage

Anyone else surprised at how Elliott didn't smell a rat at all from Roberto's "have you got AK" talk?

Due to the editing the pokerscope stats dont come across powerfully enough.
For example when it went 5 handed in GUKPT 1 it said I had strongest pre flop hand 6 out of 15 hands
and I only won 3 out of 6 of those hands whilst trapped between the big stacks of  Karl and Praz.

What it doesnt take into consideration is position, avoiding confrontation with a big stack and how
strong that actual hand is. eg If A9 was strongest hand as in one of the hands shown its not one
to bully the table with as it cant stand a re-raise so the stats on their own dont carry much weight
without position and actual real preflop strength of the card.

tbh i wasnt that comfortable with it, but i was totally committed once i bet that flop, and if hes made a bad call pre and hit the perfect flop then its not my day

i liked how i was supposed to stack off in one of the first hands with 66 when we were both above average, commentary would have made it out to be an easy fold if hoss had TT im sure

I was really surprised by Roberto's call of the re-raise with Ace Queen, I thought he should raise or fold. Hoss should be firing on any flop as well.

Romanello honestly thought he was trapping with AQ i think. I agree with you flops, standard play is to 3bet there, i want it over there.
