Officially 3.30pm. So I reckon around 5pm.

cheers Chris

Actually, it looks like there is a good chance that play will commence very soon. The players are being intorudced as I write.

Before they start, it must be emphasised that there is an inaccuracy in my initial post; Paul Mendes is in fact British, meaning we have two flag fliers at this final table.

Good luck to them both.

Play has now commenced. An early pot saw Josh's pre-flop raise of 36k re-raised to 88k by my pick (ahem) Marcel Baran who won the hand without having to see a flop.

Photos of all finalists will arrive shortly.

The first flop of the day involves Ian Cox, the sports bettor from Poole raising to 33k after Joseph Mouawad had limped from early position for 12k. Joseph called the raise, but folded to a 33k continuation bet on the Flop.

As those who have been watching the live feed will be able to verify, there have been no major pots, just players taking in turn to nab a few smaller pots. Don't fret though, it's certainly not a total foldathon, there should be some excitement very soon.
