Ok so i dont have the HH for this as my PT got some kinda virus form an update. But here it is in all its glory.

I have $250, opp has me covered @ 1/2. Opponent not say he can make huge bluffs with missed draws, can induce the bluff off missed draws, and leads with a set into preflop raiser.

He limps, i raise to $8 from the button with    , he calls.

Flop comes,    . He leads out for $10 into $20 pot. I raise to $30. He calls. Pot is now $80. Turn comes  . He checks, i bet $60. He calls?? At this point i think i have him crushed and he proly has the nut flush draw with maybe a gutshot, say    . River comes  and he jams. Pot is now $200 and i have $150 back.

call or fold.

Well it depends if he's good or bad, this is a horrible spot to bluff a missed draw and i'm sure you know that an all in overbet on the river here means you're beat a high % of the time.

I called, it was a horrible curiosity call tbh and i should never have made it. He has to know it looks like a missed flush draw so prolly has the goods. EEK.
He had As8s for rr flush, well done ironside, nothing gets past you son.

Tough descision- just have to add to your notes that he jams when he gets lucky on the river!

As a side note: If idiots want to call a re-raise OOP with what is effectively junk once that flop is out, then sometimes you have to pay them when they get lucky.

You charged him well over the odds to see a turn card. He also got less than 5/1 implied odds on the turn ($60 to win your $250 + the $40 he had already invested) to hit one of 7 outs (>5/1 shot.) Add in the fact that he would have lost more if the or hit, and it's clear that his play was pretty poor.

All you can do is play the hand as well as possible, and over-charge draw-chasing fish. I always try and take comfort from that fact whenever I get sucked-out on anyway! You know where his money is ending up long-term.

Since my chat-ban (I've chosen not to have my chat re-instated) the majority of my notes include "f*cking useless c***."

I Like the fact that you have no HH and I don't have to trawl through all the usual crap to get to the nitty gritty. I wish all analysis posts could be like this.
