Are you in or out of the Authorized camp?

Personally I am agaiinst him and I think I'll have a wee bit of Zambezi Sun e/w if I can get 6/1 anywhere.

I'm also sticking with Yellowstone at a big price to get a place.

He is a big lay for me at 6/4.  I also like Zambezi Sun, but from a trends point of view Soldier of Fortune has an outstanding chance.  3yo who won the Irish Derby & the Prix Niel with a good draw, he will take a lot of beating.  Interesting why O'Brien has left Dylan Thomas in though...

Should be a great race.

Think I should lay Authorized, he's clearly not up to it today and will be outclassed by everyone in the field.

Bent or not I don't really mind, but someone would have know Authorized was going to look average and not do anything, I can't believe that everyone that's connected with the horse thought it was going to win.

Like I said, I don't mind if it's bent or not, hopefully one day I'll be lucky enough to be on a nice little earner, but when massive horses like Authorized run like they did today, I refuse to believe that people don't know.

Saying that, what are they supposed to say?  If they say it's not going to win, everyone rushes out to lay it.  If they keep it quiet or between a few people, then in a way that's better isn't it?   Then it's just them that can lay it at the exchanges.

Peter Chapple Hyam has consistently said Authorized would win every race he ever ran..the only big mistake he made was sticking him in the Eclipse (I still don't think Notnowcato only won because he switched sides in the home straight..)
What people have forgotten is that the Arc is a true champion's race filled with decent horses..and RUN IN FRANCE..where they wouldn't know a truly run race if it kicked them up the arse. Longchamp is a special track and it pays to be have run your horse on it before and the Arc is a race against special horses. Dylan thomas is a true champion..the horse has proved that consistently..and has the course experience that has turned out to be soo important over the past few years.
Authorized on form alone maybe should have beaten Dylan thomas but Aidan O'Brien knows how to get a champion ready for the big day and is by far the better trainer out of the two. I just can't believe Youmzain of all horses got 2nd.

do people honestly think if there had been a problem with Authorized that anybody had known about the horse would have been sent off the 11/10 fav? No,of course not,it would have been a massive drifter.

Horses aren't machines.I would put the bad run down to the track.
