E40 rebuy tourney and end of rebuys now... blinds 500/1000, and a player has moved to your table recently. In the 10 hands he has been there he is now making his 4th raise. So far he has been uncalled and has moved his stack up to 13k.. He makes the standard raise to 3k from 2nd pos, and you are in cutoff with 8.2k and J9o...

Is it time to make a stand or time wait until later? Ps, you know this player from elsewhere and he is known as a LAG player.. thoughts please..

I want to be pushing in first with that hand I think

With him having to call 5k into a nearly 13k pot I doubt you've got enough fold equity to make him pass getting those odds

Even if it is half his stack to call

even if he's a serial raiser he can't fold anything he raises with from 2nd position for the extra 5.2k. i don't know about waiting till later either because you'll have less and he'll have more so you'll be even more likely to be called by a LAG. if you already knew he was a LAG maybe a re-shove a raise or 2 previous?

I'm pushing and need the double-up so wouldn't mind a call and a bit of luck boxing from me.

It's too late for the re-steal. I don't think he can fold getting 5/2 on his money. Fold for me.

you have 8 BB's left you need a double up...push and hope the blinds fold and that you have 2 live cards...I would fold here about 0% of the time..

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
