Maria Demetriou has told me her stack has vacillated between 3.5k and 6k but keeps homing in on the 4k figure and just as she was at the end of level 2, Maria remains on 4200. She has told me if anyone asks for her stack just to tell them she's on 4k, where she feels destined to stay. Some gee-up words over a hamburger and we've set her off to get a stack though so things could change rapidly...

Apparently Ben Turnstill, aka RookieITB is OUT!

Details of the hand are sketchy, but it appears he ran top 2 into a set. Bad luck Rookie, you run bad...

I watched Flushy going for Oscar nomination after being set allin on a turn of , Flushy said "I don't think I can pass this" and chip fiddling, looking into space, mumbling, counting fingers as if workiing out pot odds and taking a quick time out to order the beef option off the dinner menu before ultimately passing his absolute FILTH with a sigh.

He fooled no one...

Play is just about to restart.

Maria has 4.2k, Flushy is on 12.5k. Meanwhile, man of the hour, Julian Thew has just turned up and straight away was flocked by a few people at the bar, congratulating him and hoping for a little good luck to rub off on them too.

Nick 'Ripple11' Jenkins has lost half his stack running Queens into Kings. He's just been moved to the left on Priyan De Mel who, during the break, was telling the rest of the rest of the Hitsquad, plus myself, Junglecat, Chili and Sharplea whilst we were all in McDonalds, (No buffet Sad) about the tough work he had flopping sets, straight flushes and the like...

Going passed Flushy's stack, I noticed a slight increase in chips, I inquired what had happened, I got a curt and undetailed response.

"I raised with a gutshot. Hit it on the river."

Javed Abrahams, who cashed in both EPT Barcelona and London (I think) is missing and presumed OUT.

Mark Herron on around 17k

Probable chip leader Martin Bader, roughly 55k, (looks as though I photo-shopped a hat on there but I didn't)

As I wander by his seat flushy is gabbling away and grabs my arm before i can sneak off. "I'm such a donkey!" he says proudly pointing at his much increased stack...

"I know...ok I'll bite, how did it happen?"

"I raised 9T suited on the button, the BB calls. Flop comes 7 3 J, he bets 1100 I raise to 2500 he calls. Turn is a 7 check check. River 8 to give me the straight, he checks and i bet 2550 which he calls. HEHEHEHHEHEHE!"

Meanwhile Ben Vinson was seen putting in a 4.5k bet into roughly a 5k pot on the river of an A25A8 board, which convinced his mateyboy neighbour to lay down and keeping him in the region of 17k-18k...

As I walk back I have a quick chat with Maria as she is moved table to join Neil Channing, Kevin "lovejoy" O'leary and some others...

"You're just hanging around like vultures because you know I'll be knocked out soon aren't you?" Maria admonishes me.

"Not at all, we all want you to treble up" I say as I flap my wings and scour the tables for any players with shortstacks about to implode...

"Good Luck Maria!"....but I remain in the vicinity, just in case...

Meanwhile, Surinder Sunar has trebled up. A three way allin preflop coup with 99 against AK and KK and he plucks the 9 out of the deck to treble up...

Mark Herron has doubled up. Having previously re-raised (and shown 9-3) against an aggressive young player, Herron raised on the turn of an A-7-2-6 board with pocket 7's, only to be set all-in by his opponent's drawing dead A-Q. He's up to 34k.

He also says to Dom, "Thanks Tiltbag."

Chili has doubled through her 'spawny' (her words) spiking against . She has about 7.5k now.

At the start of level 6, 92 players remained, the average was 15,900 and the blinds were 150 300 with a 25 ante...

...there have been one or two casualties since though

Maria is OUT. The small blind raised, she pushed with K-J but lost the race against Nines.

Richie Allen, in the chip leading group.

Rob Garfield, has about 9k after pushing on a two hearts board getting his opponent to fold.

Antony Yousefian adopting a formerly unseen form of sitting for a comp, I'm christening this one 'the percher'.

Stuart Nash has knocked out a shorty with AA vs JJ, Jack came on the river, but the board was already reading T-x-K-Q.

Carlo Citrone is OUT, A-K vs Danny Sampson's K-K.

Kayshan Muthy has gone too, the less than stellar Q-4 into Aces.

Flushy is out. Guy raises from UTG to 1900(!) on 150 300, Flushy calls with AA. Flop comes T 8 3 with 2 clubs. Guy checks, Flushy bets, he checkraises him allin, Flushy calls.

20k pot and Flushy finds himself up against a flush draw which hits on the turn, leaving him out of outs and out of the comp. "What can you do" sighs Flushy...

Maria is also out I beleive as she has vacated her seat but I couldn't find her to confirm this...

Praz looks very short with 6k or so, Neil Channing is OUT after shoving in EP with a short stack and being looked up by Kevin O'leary's AQ. His J6 didn't hit and out he went at the expense of LOVEJOY.

We are now on a break and will resume in 15 minutes with 200 400 with a 50 ante where things will really kick off...

We're now on the 200/400/50 level. It always seems to be the one where big stacks are suddenly created and many people seem to exit.

Bumped into Ian Cox during the break. With Thewy winning those two big comps in quick succession, perhaps Ian's performances of hitting back to back final tables have been overlooked, combined with the fact he's made 6 finals this year. Certainly, he's in a big purple patch, and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes deep again this week.

Praz looked to have jsut doubled up as he swept in a pot that consisted of lots of little chips but seemed to have around 13k or so in it...

It's 200 400 with a 50 ante right now with 40 minutes or so left in this level...

Ken Wong has succumbed. His AJ with a shortstack was shoved into the middle, but he found an AQ caller and couldn't make his 30%er count so finds himself on the rail.

No Wong jokes from me. That wouldn't be right.

Ed Arees is OUT, no details I'm afraid.

Stuart Nash -- 26,175
John McCrane -- 17,000 (Having just doubled up with KK vs AQ)
Dan Owston -- 28,275

Karl Mahrenholz has doubled through Ben Vinson with A-Q vs A-J on an A-Q-J board.
