Rod and I have managed our mazy journey from Villa del Jendanasnoops.

Play recommences at 1.30pm for the second of the three start days.

Off to see who is playing today.

This is the 'lite, no frills' update.

Welcome back to The Vic for Day Two's GUKPT action.

There are plenty of interesting names to follow today.

Chris Moorman will be looking to build on his blossoming reputation as one of the top online MTT'ers with a strong live performance.

Blonde's own Maria Demetriou is appearing today and will no doubt be trying to emulate the success of her fellow intrepid updater Snoopy yesterday.

James Dempsey has also turned up to play today. "I like my table" he says. He is sharing it, amongst others, with Ken Wong, who put in a credible performance at the Plymouth GUKPT, and Mark Banin aka Prince Charles who is best known for his 2nd place in the World Heads Up Championships in 2004.

As I speak to him, play gets underway and Flushy is involved in the first pot.

Edward Cahill raises to 200 UTG and Flushy calls in the BB.

Flushy checks the Two Diamonds two hearts flop, and Cahill bets 500. Flushy passes AK face up. "Surprised you didn't go broke there" I remark....... "Rigged" is flushy's response.

Stuart Nash, Surindar Sunar, Willie Tann, Sunny Chattha, Barry Neville, Kevin O'Leary, Carlo Citrone, Neil Channing, Laurence Houghton, Micky Wernick and Karl Mahrenholz are some of the other recognisable faces playing today. I'm off to join the action and see what juicy action is being thrown up.

Barry Neville is one of the day's early casualties and not happy about it either...

"Ah'm sick bou tit. Pleyhed three 'ands.. Ehhces - ran inta set 'a fours. Tens - did 1500 chips and didn't get t'see river and finally i get JQ, it goes limp, limp, limp, I riase(with JQ) cos ah'm not 'avin all these little cards in mah pot....Flop comes 55 J. I bet, ee raises, I think e's at it so I go allin and he calls with 35 off. Wouldya credit it!" (I don't bring up that his raise to get rid of the little cards didn't seem to work - he looks like he's in a punch first, ask questions later mood)

Barry storms off in a huff "Seeya in blackpool"

Flushy is happy with his start, he called a riase with 56, flopped trips and made a little so is up to 1150 at the moment....As I catch up with him, an interesting hand is playing out on his table. with 3-4k or so in the pot Ken Wong pushes allin on the turn of a

two spades board for 6k or so. He is called by Sonny Ridgewell in seat nine who is holding a pair and gutshot with 9c7c. The river blanks though and Ken Wong takes the big pot down with his Aces...

"We're in the twilight zone!" says Flushy.

The Scooby Gang Blondes.

L to R:

Fred, Shaggy, Daphne and errr...Thelma.

Flushy has just played Kings 'the worst way ever', "no significant chips went in til the river, when I was behind."

Chilli is fairing not great, down to around 6,600 after turning two pair but finidng her opponent had already flopped a set.

Praz Bansi is crying "Fix!" as he found out he was sitting next to Sunny Chattha

Nick Jenkins and Chris Moorman. Looks like they're both ready for bed. Bless.

Rookieitb has just knocked out the guy to his immediate left,

He min/checkraised the two hearts flop from 400 to 800, fired 1,500 on the turn, before checking the two hearts river at which point his opponent moved all-in fopr his last 2,200. With so much in the pot, Rooks made the call, his opponent flipping , which was always behind to the that Shaggy Rookie was holding.

Karl Mahrenholz has turned up, complaining about traffic. He made it 200 to play in mid position, called by the button and the small blind.

Flop:

SB checks, Karl bets 350, the button makes to 1,350. The small blind moves all-in. Karl passes, and the button passes face up.

Good/Bad Pass?

Finally, here's the Stuart Nash/Rob Garfield table, in all its' glory.

Some chip counts from players as requested..

Jeff Duval looks like he has had an accident and is down to 4-5k or so...

Ben Vinson looked a little down on his starting stack with 8-9k.

Chris Moorman shrugs when I ask him how he's doing "Pretty much the same" indicating he hasn't got involved yet.

I notice Chris looks a little tired and sleepy...."Were you up all night playing again Chris?" I admonish and he sheepishly nods his head and laughs.

Tom Grundy looks to be on 8k or so...

Dan Owston has made some inroads into his tablemates' stacks already and is on 14k or thereabouts.

Mark Banin has been crippled relatively early on. Raising to 250, he flat called the reraise to 1100 and check raised allin on a J Q rag board.

His trappy play with Aces cost him though as his opponent had flopped a set with QQ, leaving him moping about in danger on 2k or so....

three diamonds flop

Neil Channing checks, Jeremy Longley bets 800, Micky Wernick makes it 2,800 with around 1,500 back. Neil Channing moves all-in, Longley passes and somehow Wernick finds a fold too.

I didn't realise Surinder Sunar was playing, haven't seen him play a hand, but according to his iPod, he's a big fan of Kanye West and Gorillaz. Who'd have thought?

Mark Banin and Flushy

Kayshan Muthy and Cupcake

Rob Garfield takes a pot, betting the whole way of a Two Clubs board and being called down to the river where his opponent mucked to his last bet, showing a missed .

Chris Moorman has bitten the dust. He was down to 4k when he was dealt KK, he decided to flat call.

When the flop came Q hi with 2 diamonds and his opponent bet out, chris moved allin only to find his opponent instacalling with QQ, and the king-less floppery and turnery resulted in an early bath for Chris.

"It's KK isn't it, when I got dealt it, I was thinking, oh oh here we go then, that's me out!"

I spoke to Maria, who has picked up a few chips since dropping ot 4k or so..."I'm not getting any cards so I'm trying to do something with the ones I'm being dealt" She proudly shows off her stack which has now risen to the heady heights of 5.8k...

She's in good humour though and has a big smile on her face as always so all is not lost yet.

End of level 2 chip counts to follow shortly...

An 'Ouch' moment over on table 3.

Kevin Daly and Frank Bluemle get it all-in on flop

Daly:

Bluemle:

The half-Wilson succumbs.

Jim Reid has just been crippled by Antony Phillips, with Queens vs Ace King. The Barry Greenstein special, an ace on the river, clinching the pot.

Willie Tann has dropped the ball, like a certain goalkeeper. Roll Eyes

Previously, one of the chip leaders, he's now down to just a few bits of change, most of his chips seemingly gone to nextdoor neighbour Martin Bader.

Elsewhere, Micky Wernick is MIA.

Karl Mahrenholz just stubbed his toe, he bets 875 on the , and was flat-called in one spot by Laurence Houghton. Pushing the blank turn Two Diamonds with he was instantly called by the , and doubled up the short stack.

Yellow perils, Ben Vinson and David Lloyd, the latter just having knocked a short stack out with vs .
