p.s come on Scotland
p.s Russia have to play Israel and ?. if they get six points we're out. All we can do is beat Coratia at home (tough but doable) and hope for the best
russia have to play Israel and Andorra both away...they won't drop points against Andorra, you'd think..so it's Israel or bust for England

Thank you
although we still might make it of course, those poor results in the early months of the group might, and probably should, cost us dear.

Good luck to the Scots tonight, we need at least one team in or it won't be worth watching.
A somewhat predictable difference in attitudes.
each to there own m8
Just think it's a tad sad and silly attitude.
Why not just focus on wishing your own team success rather than a silly anti attitude.

I suspect none of the home nations will be playing in the Euro finals next summer.

Being stupid being one of them???
Personally I like to see all the home nations do well even though many Scots do make that hard work with their silly ABE attitude.

as for calling me stupid......
well i dont really think thats helpful and speaks much more of you than me.
the idea that someone is stupid because they dont want a team playing england to win is frankly ridiculous.
what if i told you my mother is russian. or that i had bet them to win.... or countless other reasons.
o and btw hiw do you know im scottish?

I rated Sven before he came to City, but will leave it.
Mclaren was the obvious and the only suitable English candidate in my view at the time. If he does go, it has to be a foreign coach as we have no English ones ready and waiting.
Fingers crossed for Israel next month.
the most obvious choice, nationality aside, was O'Neill. Englishman wise, Allardyce was arguably as natural a choice as McClaren
both Sam and Martin were Interviewed but not to the liking of the suits from the county FAs who choose
I do hope we choose ther best candidate irrespective of nationality next time but we won't
I wanted O'Neill as England manager as well, a great motivator of players is exactly what the England team need while being tactial shrewd. He is far too outspoken though and the fa never have appointed outspoken managers.

Who's flaming I just stated that I think the predictable ABE attitude is a stupid one expressed by stupid people.
I'll pm Raab my response to his last post so not to ruin the thread.

If Scotland qualify (I'd put it at 40/60) and head to the Euro finals, I'd really like England to be there. Get a chance for some revenge on that Euro 2006 polava.
Some people
*cough* diceman
need to get a grip. It's only a game, and football rivalry isn't personal. No need to get upset and call people names.
