Good Morning peeps, I know its afternoon but it certainly still feels like the a.m.  We had a relatively early night last night update wise, but heading over to another hotel for some drinks maybe wasn't the brightest of ideas but at least I stuck to the cokes.  Also having Ben Grundy holding court with us telling us endless poker stories was relatively entertaining.

So I have your requests so far etched on my notepad, Danny McHugh, Stuart Rutter & any Lady Dealers will be looked out for and Snoops has indeed at least one eye on him, dont worry Kin!

You know the phrase 'chip and a chair'? Well, in the blogging world, it's a 'plughole and a chair', and we've fortunately sealed the deal on both essentials.

Out in the cardroom, meanwhile, tumbleweed is dominating the arena, players opting for a few extra vital snoozes as opposed to an early appearance. We did spot Mickey Wernick trundling down the main road though, fully kitted out in tracksuit and trainers, and eager beaver Paul Gourlay is milling around the cardroom awaiting the starting whistle.

At the moment, it looks like there will be around 140 players, but Lee Jones is hoping for 149, what he describes as 'the magic number', so they can beat last year's prizepool. Whether they reach that number is touch and go at the moment.

Still, beating it by €500e is hardly an accomplishment.

Tell Lee Jones to take inflation into account too, and to stop talking nonsense.
