Mischievous Liverpudlian Joey Lovelady is milling around the rail, his tournament coming to a demise either just after, or just before the break.

"I was ahead, you can report that," he says surprised. "I had K-Q on an Ace high Flop. Chips went in on the Turn when it came a King, but he had a pair and a flush draw with T-7 and hit a heart."

The lad's still smiling though.

Danny McHugh is still plugging away with 7,200, as is Julain Thew with 17,250. Also sharing table space is Richard Ashby with 14,475 and Jeff Kimber on 6,350.

Patrick Bruel, who I learned was the all singing, all-dancing, all television hosting poker player who saw off the aforementioned Lovelady, is back in the thick of it one more, this time betting every street (900, 2,000, 6,000) of a three diamonds board before finally encouraging the UK's Thomas Bentham too fold, and then folding to an all-in from Liam Flood on a Q-Q-6 Flop.

Speaking of Mr Flood, another veteran from the Late Night Poker era is the ever-present Surinder Sunar, quiet and calculated as usual as he bets Holland's Michiel Brummelhuis off an board with a 5.2k bet. The Cobra now hovering around the 30-35k mark.

And here is young Thomas Bentham after losing that last pot to the Frenchman.

Kevin O'Connell has been eliminated.  All the money went in on a flop of

Kevin
Matey

on the turn gave the Dusk till Dawner more options, but a blank river sent him packing.

Sure he is not being rude to me here, just bad timing.

My gags are admittedly rather poor. I stole that one off Jim Davidson.

Remember at school when you'd do that farting noise behind the teacher's back?...
