I know a lot of people scoff at the advice their doctors and nurses give to them. This advice is not given out for nothing. Before you cast it away, think about your family and what they would feel if you had a heart attack. Its difficuly to apply this kind of advice to yourself when you dont want to make any changes but if they are telling you to make them, my advice is that you should try even a little. They generally dont just TELL you to give up things so you must need that advice more than others Wink

think walking, fruit and red wine ( 1 glass per night) lol

The advice the nurse gave you was well intentioned and sound, it may lengthen your life. However the extra years will be when you are 80 and a wreck of a man, so enjoy yourself, have Guinness and Bensons for breakfast. thumbs up
