Calzaghe was too much for Kessler. I had him ahead by 6 rounds, and when Calzaghe backed up Kessler he made the Dane look pretty ordinary. No denying that Kessler is a world class super-middleweight though - just that Calzaghe is very much at the top of that particular tree.

Shame the coverage was awful.
I was going to go and see 'Good luck Chuck. I'm now not. If I see a Mitsubishi driver today I'm going to ram them off the road. I hate being subjected to adverts during pay per view events - particularly when the corner talk in between rounds is usually pretty interesting.

Good fight well fought, and I like the way Kessler spoke after the fight, no bullsh*t like you normally here from a losing fighter, just an honest assessment that Calzaghe was the better boxer...

Top fight Kessler through some cracking punches and Calzaghe did well to stand up to them a sign that if he does move up then he doesn't need to worry too much about facing fighters with that extra bit of power.
Calzaghe was in control throughout and delivered a boxing masterclass.
I thought both fighters where a credit to the sport in the post match interviews.

Would be a very satisfactory ending.
