Oh I hate this situation on cash games.."I've bluffed and blufed threatening to blow your house down and you haven't folded yet, now do I stick in all my dosh playing it like  I hit the flush or not?" Totally player dependent for me and I'd like to have a history on the table of showing big hands when I bet aswell.

I probably stick a big bet in..but a big one is the only thing that might scare him off and if he calls I'll just have to write it up as a bluff gone wrong. 250 in there from me..take it..

Timing out wouldn't be a bad option. Failing that, you could check behind and hope for one of 13 outs: Either a 9 or 8 to hopefully give you the best hand- or a club to set up a river bluff.

lol. i didn't realise that it was for reasons of strategy that the most oft-seen phrase in the FTP chatbox is "Narena has 15 seconds left to act"...  Wink

Personally I don't see 98o as a reraising hand, but if I did I would have some idea of how to play the numerous tricky situations I was going to find myself in.

lol agreed...if you reraise with it you surely know what to do on the turn (and no, checking is not the correct answer I think ) Wink

i always used to check these but any decent player bets big on the river if they have it or not.

i do the only thing that offers me a simple decision from any resulting action, bet $210 and fold to a shove. Or check it down if called.

i don't know if this is a good line but i lost money taking the first line and probably broke even taking the 2nd option.
