Ralph gave me this idea, so what the hell.

The event is a deepstack, long level tourney of €500 euro.

1st prize is estimated at €40,000 +

I am willing to sell a total of 20% of myself at a cost of €10 per 1%.

Any takers?

Tom, I know what you are saying, but this figure was suggested on another post (taking into consideration expenses).

Maybe it is too high, but no harm in suggesting it.

would I not be better off placing a 200 euro bet on you to win @ 150/1?

I might offer 1% chunks at 6 Euros a pop, and I won't limp with J10 with 9x the bb......

Seriously though, good luck Paul. You are a brave fella!

Does anyone else playing in Waterford consider themselves to have an expected ROI of 100%?

given the nature of poker players, I'd say 90% of the field assumes they have at least a 100% ROI

I've always thought I'd like to conduct an experiment where every entrant into a poker tournament is asked if they consider themselves to be better or worse than the average player in the field and if they could quantify that into a figure. They're not all going to cancel out are they?

Given my ticket only cost me €80, I'm still not sure I have an expected 100% ROI in this.

I will give you $160 for your ticket ... instant 100% ROI.

they wont come close to cancelling out, in theory the sum of the EV should equal the prize pool, but id bet that most tournaments, the poll of the players assumed EV would be at least double the prize pool, if not more.
