Have a speedy recovery and make sure you get lots of greens down you post op. It will help with the healing. Oh and if they are knocking you out, tell them to also give you an anti emetic because those anaesthetics can make you feel so nauseous.
I find distration therapy the most beneficial:) Just dont think about it til you need to. It works for me:)

I find that wine & or malt whisky does the trick.
Ps you have nothing to worry about, hope you have a quick recovery

Hi all thanks for all the messages of support. I know it sounds corney but it really helped the nerves in the build up. The Operation was a success and only 5 weeks on crutches
Now I need to rest and cuddle up to my supportive wife
