Bot bashing for me, new PFL changes mean they're lasting slightly longer though!

End of Over 28 (2 runs). MCC World X11: 39-6, runrate=1.39

Hopefully mop them up soon and reach 360 to declare by the end of the day (away match).

return match sees Tzaneen, Ndebele and Dugdale join Kerwin poolside ahead of two crunch OD games this week and next (well, four counting BC games).

Anyway 143-0 and cruising at lunch.

End of Over 54 (Maiden). Worse than Beefcake: 111-10, runrate=2.06
Perry 8-2-6-1
Shaw* 9 (13 balls)

Beat them by an innings in first match and going well here.  Back in with an outside chance of top 4 if I win this.  Just lost a wicket first ball which I could have done without as I need to get max batting points.

End of Over 25 (3 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 112-1, runrate=4.48

Musn't grumble, have my decent batters lower down the order just incase though!

(was unsure how the new PFL changes would make the bot play)

Well that was a good bok then!

End of Over 28 (9 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 126-3, runrate=4.50

Lucky I did put some decent players in, otherwise I would be missing out on precious bonus points!

Turley*   139 (167 balls)

Last Wicket: Mpho c. Wallis b. Tulley 28 (FOW: 108/3)

Due to declare at 400, so hoping for a good few wickets tonight

the team finished their innings with a bang

End of Over 74 (13 runs). Staples015: 404-3, runrate=5.46
Tulley   15-1-83-1
Mcewan*   142 (166 balls)
Turley   142 (175 balls)
Last Wicket: Mpho c. Wallis b. Tulley 28 (FOW: 108/3)

Now to take quick, cheap, early wickets

0.2    W   Doyle to Gwynne
Gwynne trips and falls over, easily run out

Thats the way to do it

2.2    4   Doyle to Tucker
Late cut, into the gap and over the boundary at backward point.

NAUGHTY Tucker

2.3    W   Doyle to Tucker
Tucker shuffles across his stumps to a ball of fullish length from Doyle. Trapped plumb in front.

Think Doyle was annoyed conceding that boundary???

Great start have them 6-2

LOL, must've been.

Both openers got tons but no-one else has got going, 331-5 off 83 and unlikely to reach declaration target (405) off 95 overs as planned, still might squeeze a few overs in before end of the day, assuming Parkinson has another decent knock at 7.  The manager is content.

hmm 374-6 off 89, Parkinson out after a quickfire 29.

edit: my batters have gone into 20/20 mode, just passed the 405 in the 93rd over Smiley  (407-6dec)

Max batting points now in doubt as I only bat to 6 in this match.  Another abject failure from Morgan, I've tried him in just about every batting position and cannot get any consistency from him.  Meyer will help the run rate but need him to hang around and make a score.

End of Over 48 (5 runs, 1lb). KBOTW: 143-3, runrate=2.98
Lead by 32 runs. (Worse than Beefcake 111-10)
Abdul kadir 4-0-15-1
Harris* 74 (137 balls)
Meyer 14 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Morgan c. Dowie b. Pratley 1 (FOW: 127/3)

End of Over 66 (13 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 353-5, runrate=5.35

Could have been better, still on for a max points win though, PFL hits shouldn't be too bad so I can't really complain!
