Blinds restart today at 8k/16k. We were told to be here from 1pm for a 1.30pm start but we arrived only to be told the players are starting now. So, no time for my boring witty anecdotes, straight to the action!

Chip counts:

 Paul Murrell 644700 7/2
 Ben Vinson 426700 11/2
 Ben Herron 342400 12/1
 Paul Gardner 295900 8/1
 Leo Kam 277700 10/1
 Neil Channing 269900 7/1
 Paul Bracken 259400 12/1
 Martyn Cavanagh 216900 10/1
 Mike Williams 189500 16/1
 Lee Biddulph 182800 16/1
 Lee Danaher 126400 25/1
 Iwan Jones 119200 16/1
 Paul Murphy 90800 25/1
 Jason Shellum 81000 33/1

Afternon peeps, they cheated us.  They said 1.30 start but started 1.10 instead hehe.  Straight away Channing has hit the ground running, after a couple of raises and reraises passed this time he finds Leo Kam flat calling the 8k/16k blind and Paul Gardner makes a raise to 40k more.

Neil Channing reraised all in after not much of a dwell, Paul Gardner called with  .  Channing says "Wow, didn't expect that hand!"  as he turned over  .

The board was no help and Gardner is about 190k poorer, around 100k now.  Channing now on 400k.

Instant action again involving Gardner, Bracken raised in the cut off with    Gardner goes all in with  for about 130k and Bracken made the call.

The board was  two spades for a straight for Gardner which now leaves Bracken crippled and close to the felt.

Lee Danaher is OUT in 14th winning £2,800

Channing raised to 46k, Danaher pushed for about 62k which was obviously called. Channing showed and was slightly surprised to be ahead of .

Board:

three clubs two spades

Martyn Cavanagh is OUT in 13th winning £2,800.

Leo Kam raised to 40k, Bracken cold-called with Jacks, Martyn Cavanagh pushed behind for 123.4k more. Kam passed and Bracken made the call with the board coming Q-Q-8-4-K.

Back to courtroom...

Paul Murphy is OUT in 12th place winning £2,800. He moved in the small blind with A-6, but Mike Williams was holding 9-9 in the big blind.

Iwan with about 140k makes a raise to 70k preflop, it is flat called by Mike Williams and they see a flop of:

Iwan to speak goes all in, Williams insta called the allin, Iwan says "shit" when he sees

    Williams
Jones

The AJ is good and Iwan Jones sadly goes out in 11th place (well done Vinni) for £3,550.

Its bedlam here & I didn't even get a chance to post up the pictures of the two tables at the start today.  A little outdated but I shall post them anyway otherwise the flash I blinded Channing with is wasted:

Table 1

Table 2
