Could you email me Greg to confirm your team numbers. Haven't heard anything from you in last week or 2 and just wondering if your lot had bottled it (hope not as I have bought a rather nice trophy for the winners). There has also been a lot of interest from other casinos and I think the format can be carried forward into a league( have already had enquiries about sponsorship for said league). We can start something big here so bring out your big guns and ringers- you are going to need them  Grin

Hi Russ,

Greg has been a bit busy the last 10 days. He was away on a golfing trip last weekend, & then came to Jesolo, in Italy, on Thursday with Thewy, El Blondie & myself, & we just got back home this evening.

Bottled it? You wish!

Game on!

Strange that you should say that Ironside.

During detailed planning discussions last week for the Blackpool affair - can't say too much, you never know, folks might read this note - the nightmare scenario of tikay v Burnley John arose. I mean, by the time THAT little bugger finished, we'd both be looking pretty old & haggard......

I suggest we put burley john and tikay up as the first match to be played, we can then all finish our matches before either of them has seen a flop. Look forward to taking your money guys. Danny has said its ok to use the tables etc and he will even do the draw for us.

Ok team (roughly detailed below) it looks like all games will be played on Friday afternoon.  We can play 2 at a time or one at a time depending on time restraints and how much grinding Tikay is still doing in match one.  Ariston tells me there are now 8 people in Balckpool who know the rules of No limit hold-em' so we have had to bring in a nother man - I did some digging around for a player and have selected a real wild card in trap 8. - He aint called slo-mo for nothing!! - if you think the Tikay match will be a slow one then you aint seen nothing yet!! - enter simon 'slo-mo' Hawksworth.

250 a man to enter and the winner of each match gets 500, and the all important match point.  I think the format will roughly follow that of the World Heads Up.  - 3000 chips with the blinds starting at 25-50 and after 30 mins they go up to 50-100 and that is it. - they don't go up again.

If by some fluke the match finshes 4-4 then there will be a tie break decider for the trophy.

The Notts Line Up

1.Myself
2.Tikay
3.Thewy
4.Rob Yong
5.Nick Whiten
6.Jamie Moult
7.Rumit / Greek Jack / or whoever available)
8. Simon Slo-Mo Hawksworth

I see that Notts player Barry 'Maurice' Neville took down the first prize in the 300 shoot out yesterday - Notts boys only there one day and we win straight away. - its embarrasssing really!

Slo-Mo is playing? The REAL Slo-Mo? WHAHOO! Watch out Blackpool, this man is HOT.  He's a certain winner for us, though it may just take a while......

By the way, what are we doing for chips? Are we gonna buy cash chips, borrow Tourney chips, or bring our own? Thewy has a good set of chips, but I doubt we'd be allowed to bring them in to the Casino.
