OK so you have allegedly done a bunk and faked your own death in 2002, eventually the Mrs got the death certificate from the coroner and claimed the life insurance and the pension lump sum

Mrs sells up and goes to live in Central America. You are inadvertently photographed there with her in 2005

So why in 2007 do you turn up at a London police station, tanned and well?

and when you do, could you not come up with any better than

"I remember nothing since the year 2000"?

The police had a tip off 3 months ago that something was amiss - so the alleged fraudster hears about it and trys to cut them off at the pass by turning up innocently. If that's not an admission of guilt I don't know what is.

You can't write this stuff.
