My fave cheese and crackers are those ones that come after steak, chips, mushrooms, and onion rings with a pepper sauce, and before the Black forest gateaux.

Theres so much choice when it comes to cheese. Today ill have roule with poppy seed crackers:) Tomorrow, i might have stilton and apricot with ordinary cream crackers. And of course, for me no cheese is right without pickles. Cauliflower is my most favourite pickle:)

You have just described my near perfect meal. No need to wait for the cheese though - a lovely thick-cut fillet steak, medium-rare, with crumbled stilton melted on top . And don't forget the glass of rioja

it would of been perfect if he missed off the mushrooms and the pepper sauce and added worcestershire sauce
give the gateaux to my dinner guest so as not to get a sugar rush and scare her off

stilton & digestive
Absolutely!! Thirded fourthted. Digestives my fave with any cheese. If not stilton, then cambozola or brie. fifthed. Although some of the herby cheeses are only slightly behind in my reckoning.
