Willie Tann has got an early boost, on a , Betsson qualifier Frednik Jafs confidently flipped over after being all-in only for Willie to show for the flopped house, he's on 20k already.

Benjo-lookalike Luca Pagano and Joe Grech, who apparently won the big event in Paris last week.

Annette Obrestad has doubled through with the stellar , the board was reading , her opponent had bet out, she'd raised him and he set her all-in, to which she instantly called. He showed missing his gutshot as the board came running Aces. Annette up to about 18k.

How did they manage to get 320 entrants today when the maximum was listed at 250 per day on the EPT site. Answers on a postcard please, oh and more pics wouldnt go amiss either....thank you in advance.

It was supposed to be 250 per day but demand here for Day1b is pretty high so they made the decision to take out a few cash tables (of which there were plenty) and accomodate as many people as they could.  It's a big enough room and the players haven't suffered space wise for the decision.  The more the merrier I say and players seem to be in favour of more money in the prize pool.

I've heard that in the midnight hour, he plays more, more, more... (SNG's than anyone else).

Roberto Romanello has turned up late, but is probably wishing he hadn't turned up at all. He's already down to his last 1.5k after losing most of his chips with A-K on a K-x-3 board to a flopped set of threes.

Barny Boatman is equally short, he hit his set but ran straight into a set.

Quote of the day. "Annette Obrestad is so good at poker that she can win online sit and goes without turning on her computer."

Expect a calvacade of Annette 'facts' a la Jack Bauer or Chuck Norris.

A friend of my is playing today. His name is Yannic Mulder and he's playing on table 38 seat 6.  Could you give me some updates about his chipcount and probably a picture of him in action too? Would be really great!

Annette doesn't check and see a flop.  The flop asks Annette for permission to be seen.

Players are just on a short break -

I believe this is Londoner Tony Phillips who is located near the press room so his yoyo exploits can be witnessed.
Currently on 7,000.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen raises to 300 from early position, the small blind makes it 1,100. Dag calls.

Flop:

Check check.

Turn:

Small blind checks, Dag bets 650, the small blind calls.

River:

Check check.

The small blind surprisingly turns over , and even more perplexingly, it's good.
