End of Over 21 (3 runs). Thame Town: 56-3, runrate=2.67 (1st Inn: 400-10 dec)
Lead by 205 runs. (Bigglesthwaite CC 251-10)

My game is quite finely balanced.

Depends a lot on how many wickets I can take tonight and what the weather is tomorrow. (I've already been stitched up that twice, choose to bowl in humid conditions, only for them to be sunny at the start of play, and then had to bat in the humid conditions myself).

My openers have done well after a slowish start.  Should enable me to make an earlyish declaration and have a go at bowling them out.

End of Over 28 (2 runs). KBOTW: 157-0, runrate=5.61 (1st Inn: 403-5 dec)
Lead by 180 runs. (phizz 380-4 dec)
Asher 5-0-16-0
Hadland* 76 (92 balls)
Conelly 72 (82 balls)

FINALLY bowled them out for 175 in the 84th over!

A day's rest for my team.

Finally play a human team in my OD league. Could be fun!

Down to the bowlers now.  I have 73overs to try and bowl them out, hoped to declare sooner but they managed to slow my runrate a little today.  They need to score at 4.84 if they want to win and I think that will be beyond them.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 71 (5 runs). KBOTW: 332-3, runrate=4.68 (1st Inn: 403-5 dec)
Lead by 355 runs. (phizz 380-4 dec)
Wray 22-6-78-0
Tau* 31 (46 balls)
Edgerley-harris 33 (51 balls)

Last Wicket: Harris c. Nolan b. Gaynor 51 (FOW: 269/3)

Almost there.  From a seemingly hopeless position a couple of weeks back I'm now in with a great chance of finishing in top 4.

The players are off the field for tea.

End of Over 33 (1 runs). phizz: 114-9, runrate=3.45 (1st Inn: 380-4 dec)
Trail by 241 runs. (KBOTW 403-5 dec & 332-3 dec)
Wardley 8-4-9-3
Gaynor* 1 (1 balls)
Patrick 0 (4 balls)

Go bazza!

My match is very very tight still!

End of Over 58 (2 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 211-5, runrate=3.64 (1st Inn: 251-10)
Trail by 145 runs. (Thame Town 400-10 dec & 207-10)

I don't think I have enough time to win, but should hopefully hang on for the draw!

Clarke has just hit a ton, makes up for his poor show in the first innings.

My opponent is wondering why his team batted so slowly this morning... astute tactics by me I think Wink

Bowled out my big rivals for second place for 82 and 304 to win by an innings!

Nice of them to bat into day 3 for the extra gate receipts!

All of which means a guaranteed runners up spot!  ( though I'm sure I'll regret it in a month or so! )
