Don't make me mad

Been playing at this table for over an hour been fairly active with as the table apart from one player has been fairly passive.

Its a $1/2 game I sat in with max buy in and had spun it upto $460 in the hour getting most of it from TranSportlotl

I haven't figure out how to input HH from iPoker yet but stats are as follows.

6 handed game - one player sitting out

SB - $150 passed
BB - $200 - Slag
UTG - Passed
Hero $460 ish
Buton $93 passed

Fairly passive table except BB who has been raising and re-raising almost every other hand he's already had 4 buy ins in the space of an hour, a few layers have come to the table got $$ off him and moved on.

My hand is and I stick it a pot bet of $7  passes to BB who then makes it $26 I call and flop comes

So I have flopped the nuts but the FS is still a possibility and as I don't have any diamonds in my hand this could be a bit of a danger board.

So do I bet my hand or do I hope the SLAG bets for me?

what do you mean bets out for you?..he checks to you you bet..he bets out you raise him. you have position..use it..don't slowplay it bet it FFS.

I was obviously thinking ahead to what actually happened, he checked to me I bet 2/3 of the pot ($36) he raised and I push back at him.  Now at this point he can't pass no matter what he has.

So what hands are we putting him on?

On a guess? ten jack but with a FD? (in other words...split pot for you at best?) how much did he raise, mate?

u gotta run the gauntlet of 2 diamonds,he may evenbe splitting it rite now with u...

I reckon 1 more diamond and ur toast

seen it so often..flopping the nuts with 2 suited cards there which u have none of can definitely ruin ur day.. ( after the river )...

but this is omaha and it looks like you have to run the gauntlet, tis the nature of the beast...

check check check, betting is madness

EVERYONE!! We have to act after the BB!!

EVERYONE!!! Q910J is a favorite over AAxx preflop!!

Whatever dude. We do have to act after the other guy so like check shoving isn't an option.

Also, did some calculations myself. Our hand is fav over 4 Aces. We are approaching a 6 / 4 dog if he has double suited aces. But if he has four unconnected AAxx, where xx are less than 6 it is virtually a flip. Just saying.

show this math that says AAAA isnt a fav over the hand in the OP, but more importantly, show this legendary math that shows that 910JQ , with the entire or even local distribution, is a fav over AAxx lol. IF you get stuck, give www.twodimes.net a go.

I once ran some "calculations" that said that 1+1 equals a bucket of egg timers, it didn't stand the test of better calculations, but i said it in an assertive tone so how could people ever believe it was wrong!

He potted back at me  mate leaving something like £136.  Haven seen the way he was playing there was absolutely no way i was passing my hand.

I think even if I could see his cards and seen that he had T J with a diamond draw i still want my money in there Smiley

Anyway i set him in for his last $7

Turn brough

River pah

He shows two spades three diamonds

Massive hand!  Poo

Your hand is such a monster and you are favourite over AAxx

no

How do you play the hand pre and post flop totalise?

u played it perfect preflop, anything else is lunacy, i donno if id pot postflop or check-ship, i think (mostly) any hand that outdraws you postflop will pot it if you check the flop anyways, so checking at least lets him pot his pathetic hands that have very few outs against you postflop... so I think id prolly check and get it in if and when he bets.
i agree, not just flush to worry about any 10 or jack could have you beat, i wouldnt be betting the pot on the flop,in the long run you will loose more cash than you would win i think ,if i check and he bets pot,i would be putting him on a big draw obvious but could be on a freeroll  higher straight or flush draw,,with no draw i just call ,no scare card and i am betting pot after the turn ,

I hate just potting this on the flop. Good raise pre and the call is fine. You have position   pot is 52$ ish and he has a stack of 176.  If he checks it is unlikely he has bare JT and it's still risky with DDJT or QQJT, either way he is mental so you are prob gonna pay him here anyway. I would bet 26$ into the pot when checked to me, a diamond draw will usually call. There's no need to inflate a pot too much when you can be pretty sure where you are based on his reaction. You really want to be seeing turns with these hands and then getting it in on blanks, but you must charge something on the flop and it helps give an idea of what he might have

I think you played it pretty well, I also think it is hard to put him on a hand here and for this player it is cold-deckaments if he has JTwith redraws when ur this shallow. I would actually bet a little less than you on the flop. he may actually flat call cheap bet thinking good odds on hitting his draw.but again in this situation you can't bet/call to pass a scary turnbecause you'd be leaving so much dead money. Just ul i'm afraid.
