couldnt get this hand out my mind after it happened

£10 rebuy £2.2k prizepool, 24 left, blinds 100/200, im pretty short wiv 2,800 chips then this hand comes

dealt  in BB. utg limps (7000 chips), sb completes (8000 chips) and i check

flop is   three diamonds

sb checks. my plan of action is to check raise all in here. i didnt wanna bet out and face a raise in which im calling off my stack wiv a flush draw.
so i check and as planned the utg bets 600. im ready to bosh, then sb check raises to 3000! this wasnt in my plan. now im in a position i hate as i dont wanna be callin off wiv a flush draw as id much rather be making the move first. i dont know wot the utg is planning

do i have to call here?

Hmm this looks close, 2800 to win 4000 assuming sb doesn't come along for the ride. The only hand which has us ridiculous crushed is the nut flush draw but bb's range has a lot of pairs in it.

Im going to say call, lets see what pokerstove says. We need 41% equity in the pot.

 105,930  games     0.079 secs     1,340,886  games/sec

Board: three diamonds
Dead:

   equity    win    tie          pots won    pots tied
Hand 0:    40.372%     39.40%    00.97%             41740         1026.00   { KdTd }
Hand 1:    59.628%     58.66%    00.97%             62138         1026.00   { KK+, 99-22, AdJd, AdTd, Ad9d, Ad8d, Ac6c, Ad6d, A5s, A2s, QdJd, 76s, 54s, A5o, A2o, 76o, 54o }

Sigh looks super close, flip a coin.

Lol misreadaments its sb who has made it 3000 making the ranges a bit different. Making it more likely for utg to get in the pot, making this more likely to be a call.
