A guy at work mentioned that IF Reece were to become ill in the states we would most likely have to pay up front for any treatment. Geez, we sure have  got that sort of dosh hanging around. So this is making me even more nervous about booking, I have to find my balls and just go for it.

Got to wait until Monday to contact the insurance again I will ask them then.

This isn't really true IMO.  It will be a bit of a pain but if it is serious they will generally treat first and seek payment second.  It would be very unlikely they would turn you away for not having the means to pay as very few do....everyone out there has insurance it is just a case of them figuring out how they will get paid.  That said make sure ytou have it for everyone not only Reece as if you fall and break your leg you will be spending half your life paying it off if you aren't.....trust me I spend about 9 months a year out there at the moment and lost a crown and needed some more dental work and was given a quote of $20k!!!!!  It just isn't worth it!!!

On mobile so excuse any errors.
He got himself a bit worked up before theater so they put the syringe in his central line and let him put himself to sleep when he felt ready to press.  This helped as he felt more in control.  Anyway good news is his surgeon., Mr Sugarman , has managed to use the same vein. Massive achievement this as with Reeces veins this is not usually an option.  They have brought it out of a different exit in his chest and got rid of old granulation sewing that old one up so will return to theater in four weeks to take stitches out as couldn't use dissolving ones this time.  Anyway he is also coming home TONIGHT lol.  He wants to sleep at his grandmas he says so.....another balance on the edge of the bed for me lolol. Worth it though.

Ty Clairebear. On a bit of a high now we are.  Mr Sugarman also said he oxspring pleased with Reeces progress as he never thought he would come this far so well.  Is was very impressed with his progress from when he first met him almost skeleton like.  Xx

"I can't wait to grow up, I am going to be a doctor like you, then I am going to put you on that bed and put you to sleep to see how you like it".

Quoted....... Reece Snape 4/02/20111 @ LGI theater.
