I tried forgetting to ring her but that didn't seem to help.

    YAY - welcome back!!!

Think of ya often and wondered how Reece was doing.  Hope they get the little man's vitamin issue sorted soon.  Miss you!  xx

Hope  OK to post on this account only not been able to log in on my own account for a while hence creating a new one. I hope spelling is ok for you guys only i am on a tablet atm. Reece...well..he is Reece, a fighter. Had his gastronomy out now too so totaly self relient. He still requires vitamin help as he can not absorb vit a d or e. Injections are the answer but they hurt him as he has no fat or muscle and has them every 4 weeks.. Terrible to see him have them. He still only weighs 23 kg at best. Usually around 21kg. He will be 10 this this year...who da thunk...
He struggles at school still..cant even begin to explain on here how cruel children of his age can be it goes beyond belief ...heart wrenching but thats kids you have to forgive. He also has to realise their torment about his lose bowel is minor to what he has survived. He hates school. Loves weekends And holidays. He is a star.
Stacey has gone through the mill recently, pretty serious stuff but has come out shining. She is hoping to give birth in august but tests show it may be sooner. She is on rest time.
Us two...well we are just us no change there...together we will see them all through.

Don't quite know what to say, Mo, but thanks for the update.

Kids can be the cruellest things ever, but I'm pretty sure Reece will cope with that nonsense, he's a bigger man already than any of them will ever be.

10 years old, wow. What a topsy turvy 10 years, but he wins every battle.

It's hard to know what to write Maureen. I feel like I should offer sympathy but really I want to congratulate you all for continually winning when the deck is stacked against you.

I'm proud to know you.

No sympathy needed, there are lots of positives, my post maybe came across too negative. He has issues yes also a new problem down in his bowel has occurred over night but he is doing so well. No machines at all. No lines or tubes coming from him. He is now at the age where things affect him more at school and with him being small compared to others in his class this bothers him. He has done so well we are so proud of him. Still sleeps in our bed on visits and insists this will continue until around the age of 17. Hmmmm, he just absolutely loves Darren to bits and has no shame on shouting I love you Grandad across the playground on the way into school.
