My question is should I have pushed on the flop with the amount of money in the pot and what I had behind?
Although not played at the table long I put EP on 10s to QQs and AK as he did not re-raise the re-raise pre-flop. I obviously put the other guy on AK, KK, QQ and at a stretch JJ (AA could be an option but as I had an A that hand is more unlikely). Pre-flop the small blinds raise of a raise is not much more and with one other caller I have to complete pre-flop with the money that's in the pot hoping to hit two-pair, a set or some sort of strong straight and flush draw.
On the flop a 2 or a 7 and I believe an Ace would have won it for me. I didn't put them on a set the way the betting went, they usually slow-roll it to death especially 3-handed.
I realise I made a bad call of the initial EP raise and cannot find a reason to justify it other than I like to mix it up, I'm in position and I don't like to play 100% the Harrington way. I just felt I made a mistake in not pushing in on the flop. By the way, the 7 coming down on the turn did not affect me posting this thread I would have done it anyway.
I welcome your comments. Cheers.
