ok i am going out in next couple of days to spend some money in the sales

my wish list is a new tv new pc and new laptop

looking for a nice size tv big enough to see across the room but small enough to sit infront of

pc for playing games and poker

and a laptop to keep an eye on you guys while i travel

any recomendations?

Advice: see what you like in the shops then double check net b4 buying. Ebuyer is hard to beat even in the sales.

Also, rather than buying a whole pc from somewhere like PC world, buy the parts separately and build it yourself.

my desktop i usually pick the parts i want and get them to build it in a local shop (not chain)
but the shop i used to buy from has been forced to close by the chains

can you get a tv with built in freeview recorder (bit like sky+ but for freeview)?

Love my MacBook, probably a bit expensive for your needs though.

Building a PC is easy enough, although if you don't want to do that I'm sure a friend of mine would do it for you for a decent price.
