Best bit of business Celtic could have done.

really?..not getting rid of most players, the manager and bringing decent new guys in?..I would have thought that'd be the best they could do. He's  a decent goalie and Celtic's best player..but that says more about the other players than it does about him as a goalie.

Boruc is one of the top 5 keepers in Europe boldie so dont be spouting any your pish!

lol here we go again.

Have you seen much of Boruc, Bobby?

The fact that he has been linked with moves to AC Milan and Arsenal speak volumes for the mans ability.  Look at his performances in the CL he has consistently played well and stopped some of the best players in the world.  Some would say he won more points for Celtic than any other player.

I have and he is deffo a very good goalkeeper. What you need to think about is not making totally over the top statements about players in your team, it shows you as extemely biased and to claim he is better than thiose goalkeepers shows either a total lack of knowledge, complete bias or you are on the wind up.

Now,You dont really think he is one of the top five goalkeepers do you?

I'd put him in the top 3.

Maybe I am biased, but I'm not the only person who rates Boruc as one of the top goalkeepers in the world.  He produces high quality displays for both club and country in the biggest games.  Given the state of the Celtic defence it speaks volumes for the mans performances.

My top 5 would be:

Cassillas
Valdes
Boruc
Czech
Buffon

lol. i think Boldie must be right, you have had a pint yes?

Just because some no mark journalist(s) say Milan and Arsenal are interested doesnt mean they really are.  If you find me a direct quote from anyone at either Milan or Arsenal then i'll believe it.

I don't give a flying f**k if you believe it or not makes no difference to the fact Boruc is still a top European goalkeeper.

So in other words you can't.

Valdes? Victor Valdes of Barca?

Behave! Valdes would be lucky to make the top 10.

Boruc, Cech and Buffon are all better than Valdes!

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

I'm not going to start placing Boruc in the top however many keepers in the world, all I'll say is he is a very good keeper & I'm glad he plays for Celtic  thumbs up

I agree with Teacake on the let's not get into my keepers better than your keeper debate. What I will say is I'm confident Boruc is by far the best keeper we can hope to have at the present time.

"Readers vote for Boruc

ARTUR Boruc has been voted the third best keeper in the world by readers of respected Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Celtic keeper has long been linked with a £8m move to AC Milan after impressive showings against the Italian giants in the Champions League.

Italian readers rate the Polish shot-stopper highly, believing Boruc to be better than the likes of Chelsea keeper Petr Cech and Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas. He polled behind Italy No.1 Gianluigi Buffon and Inter Milan keeper Julio Cesar.

Believe Bazza. Believe...

"We are looking at Artur Boruc very carefully and we have been for at least a year already," said Ancelotti. "It (Milan's interest] should not be a surprise because he belongs in the very top group of European goalkeepers. There is no such thing as a Carlo Ancelotti wish-list but what we do have is a group of footballers who we feel are AC Milan footballers and Boruc's name is on that list."

That said, I defo don't want to see Boruc go - regardless of the absurdity of the fee, Celtic don't need the money.

LOL

They see him play good against Milan (why would anyone who isn't Scottish watch the SPL?) and now he is rated better than Cech and Casillas?!?!?!?!?!? LMFAO!!!

If he were any good, Spurs would have bought him. Instead, we are buying Italy's No2.

If Spurs wanted any of Celtic's players', then we would just buy them.

It isn't rocket science.

Possibly they want to know more about football than listening to Sky's bluster?
