I was one of 6 as well hun...we used to put plastic up over the windows in the winter cause it was too cold. Tea time was get in get your food or else someone else will eat it. No time for anyone to be fussy. My sister was told everything was liver for 2 years or else she wouldnt eat it.

Clothes were well out of date by the time I got em Sounds like I could of written that myself! Youngest of 6 also and many of the hand-me-downs were more like antiques, my eldest sister is 17 years older and the closest is 5 years older. That was the only thing I can think of though, I guess we were pretty lucky.
Can’t say I would have it any different really, I had a fantastic childhood with never a dull moment.
