Good business?

imho he is a great player who in the past had troubles with management. At the time probably thought too much of himself.

I think he will do really well at Chelsea.

Dunno Geo, he's a great player & will do well while Drogba's away, but I'd be watching out for flying rattles once he's relegated to the bench on Drogba's return.

Think this makes him the most expensive player in the world (as far as total transfer fees).

I think so, makes Bolton look less appealing on Sundays though.

Great signing and very jealous.

Will do extremely well for them and is just what they needed.

My fear is that with them they can mount a very strong challenge and he will now probably win the Golden Boot (think he is only 3 behind Ronaldo currently)

Still at least we got a brand new training ground out of him!!

Yes, overtaking Veron...    Liverpool should have signed him years ago, but its ok, we got Diouf instead...

He will be a great signing and when Drogba returns they will play together. Shevchenko has been rubbish and Pizzaro can't play football and Kalou is nothing but a sub which is why they have relied on Drogba so much.
Drogba and Anelka is a frightening partnership.

Agree that this was the case at previous clubs, although I think he has matured and is playing better for it. Hopefully his stint at Bolton has humbled him somewhat (no offence intended to Bolton) and that he pushes on from here.

Gotta agree with this. I actually like the look of Kalou, bit ruff round the edges but could be a talent in the future.

Anelka was bolton's 30million pound player..he was the one that kept them up..They'd better find a good replacement and soon.

Anelka is a quality player.  If he plays most games, alongside Drogba, that'll be a scary forward line.  But if he's rotated with the other forwards (and there are a few there), then he'll do his incredible sulk routine again.

For £15M for Chelsea it was an easy decision to sign him.

Agreed, easily worth more than what they paid for him

great, great signing. a real top notch striker and most importantly one who doesn't need to take time to get used to the premiership. Bolton should've held out for more

Very good signing and havent seen a sign of Le Sulk since he left Liverpool - oh how I wish we'd signed him.
