My wife is a huge Agatha Christie nut, and on our dining room wall we have this poster:

Just amazing ensemble cast in that film.

Just to even things up, I bought a poster from one of my all time teenage favourite films:

Not quite got the same quality of cast, but a hugely enjoyable film nevertheless.

Take your pick, Marlyn Monroe at her most gorgeous and very best, and Jane Russell was just amazing.

Geo

I've been OK since Geo, 'cept for a little ache around my kidney area. (It hurts when I jog).

My eldest girl has been in hossie for a few days to have a bit of an operation. She's home again now, we went to see her yesterday. She looks a bit pasty, but she was eating chocolate so that's a good sign.

Any road up, I was off forum for most of the day, so I didn't manage to comment on some of the excellent film posters. I loved Ralph's Casablanca, and the story that went with it, and what about bobAlike's DEATH WISH? What an iconic image that is. It spawned a whole new genre.

Gentlemen Prefer Blonde's Geo? Not in this case, I'm going for Jane Russell (Although I'd swap both Jane and Maralyn for Audrey Hepburn)

The catkins are out on my dad's hazelnut tree. That means it's official.

Spring is here.
