He is a snakey weasle, and a complete knob, but im sick of the media bashing of the fella ... so he has made a killing on the back of the death of Di ... so what, good on him I say ... if the media didnt publicise everything he does, or the public didnt lap up his stuff, he wouldnt make a penny.
Lets face it, he was a flunky to air headed royals and was probably treated like shit off the bottom of their shoes for 99% of his time in service .. he found a way out and up, and good luck to him I say.
aye, hes a fudd

Couldn't disagree more. The guy was in the trust of the Royal Family and as such, has been privy to information and secrets that he should be made to keep to himself. He clearly is a sneaky little shit with no talent of his own so he's making a living selling the secrets of others. He, along with others in similar roles, should be made to sign an Official Secrets Act when they join the service and if they break it, they should pay the penalty.
That Alistair Campbell is another one.
No talent to do something good, so they just become gossip mongers.
I have little time for them.

Ah yes ... but these "gossip mongers" wouldnt earn a carrot unless there was demand for their stories, so who can blame them for cashing in.
If it wasnt for the sad people with "Celebrity" fixations, magazines like "Hello" etc etc wouldnt sell millions of copies and pay extortionate amounts for pics and stories.
Supply and demand.
Good luck Mr Burrell, write another crap book and get dumb Americans and gullible Brits to part with shitloads of cash for tittle tattle ... GENIUS !!!

5 million people buy The Sun every day, it doesn't make it a quality read and just because people buy this crap, doesn't mean I have to agree with it and it doesn't make it right either.
I'd think that if someone trusted me enough to put in a position where I am going to see and hear information that the blood sucking public would have a field day on, I'd have the decency to keep quiet about it. He claims to have been loyal to Diana, I can't see how his actions have upheld that trust.
If you lack any talent to do anything else in your life, I guess it's the only way you can make a few quid.

He was a dogs body to a slapper and before you all scream and rant at me lets face facts here..Diana i admit did do a lot of good charity work but come on thats all she had to do is'nt it and how many flings did she have quite a few more than Charlie boy ,who was probably pushed into it by the establishment, as the mum said in'bread'she was a TART!!!
ALL IMO
So what you're saying is that if a woman has had sex with probably (that we know of) 5 or 6 men she is slapper and a tart?

tart
- a woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money
bawd, cocotte, cyprian, fancy woman, harlot, lady of pleasure, prostitute, sporting lady, whore, woman of the street, working girl
I think not.

Had several extra marital affairs, played different men off against each other. Yep, i would say she is a slapper / tart.
And before i get abuse, i know what charles was up to, but two wrongs dont make a right.

Correct me if i am wrong, I believe that Charlied was slipping the sausage to horseface Bowles before Diana had to go seeking her marital needs outside the marital union.
Two wrongs don't have to make a right but fair is fair and everyone needs some pleasure, you cant deny the woman that.
Funny how Charles took the blame for "prince" Harry though

Hang on, its not a "lets bash Diana's morality" thread.
Its intended to create a debate on the fickle british press .... they pay Burrell telephone number cash amounts for his gossip, and then slate him for being a traitor... its comical.
It really is quite simple, if he wasnt paid for his rubbish, he would disappear from public life, so its the press and the public that have fuelled his efforts.
Burrell was cast aside after the death of Diana, his career in the royal circle was finished as the royals wanted no part of him due to him working for Diana ... he made a fortune (estimated 30 million) since then ... whatever you think of the ethical side of what he did, you surely cant blame him for cashing in, and as long as there is demand he would be daft not to supply !
