Using pokercharts.com i have been keeping a close eye on what i have been winning and losing. It tells me that in the last 33 tourneys i have played i have been in the money 17 times and out 16.  I am wondering if this is a good enough ratio - what is a good winning margin? Obviously 100% in the money would be great but as a rookie (only playing five months) i think this isn't too bad.
What are your returns - are they a higher percentage than mine - and if so what can i do to improve it - is it my game that is weak or my luck?

Well thats too small a sample to be any use, however it is a goo start....

You shouldn't get too caught up with making the money, it's more important to get top 3 finishes.

I am in the money 131/590 this year, however i am final table 101/590 which is a more revealing stat!! Added into that its 11 3rd, 19 2nds and 34 1st's.

So although i only get in the money 22% of the time i final 17% and top 3 11% of the time.
