.....for being on Gods Earth?
Most people spend the majority of their adult life working in order for their family to live.
But as individuals what do we actually achieve? Do we make this a better place to live in? Do we really give a toss what the World will be like for our future generations ? Do we give anything back to society, not just financially but in "time spent"
What, when the time comes for us to depart will we feel we have done to "actually" help mankind.
Is there any point in being here in the first place?
These are things I think about a lot, I am not talking about governments or worldwide organisations, but each and every one of us as INDIVIDUALS.
I've no idea and neither do most people. I like to think that this life is but part of a journey and we eventually find out why we are here. We might never find out. I often ponder all the things that probably don't matter in life like technology(unless its life saving or enhancing) and money. Do they really make a difference and if this is the beginning of a longer journey we might actually stunt our own growth by having all these things and not developing ourselves in areas it really matters - like looking after the earth that allows us a life; like looking after people that are starving and cold at the expense of that 4 bedroom house with a conservatory. Individually people can only make a certain impact but collectively we could really improve life on earth for a lot of people and ourselves.
Its a difficult one to answer and profound( especially at this time in the morning with my first cup of tea) but as individuals a lot of us go through life with our eyes shut and contribute virtually nothing but selfishness and narrow-mindedness. Some of us keep the species ticking over through reproduction and some of us try to see other people and take a minute to care for them and hold out our hands to help. If we can make one persons journey in this life a little easier then we would be doing something.
Its a subject that drives a lot of people insane or whets our appetites for philosophising and trying to understand. Just hope that when that happens you have some people around you with their hands out to help you make some sense and that their philosophy skills are up to scratch......

In other words, I've no idea
