donking is a word often used in poker nowadays, and i was wondering about it's origins?

I cannot work out what influence this man has had on the game!!!!

Maybe it came from 'donkey'? It's always been apt to describe a donkey as a stupid animal (ive no idea why because they are great animals) and this naturally transferes to our descriptions of people we believe have the same characteristics. Donk could be a more sophisticated way of describing the behaviour - instead of 'he is a donkey' its 'he acts like a donky' and 'donked' his chips off?
