Just been reading 2+2 forum and Stoxpoker seems to get glowing reviews.

Has anybody else used this tool/tuition site, and if so, what did you think?

Do you consider any other sites, such as cardrunners, as better value?

My opinion is that the best route is probably to go around all of these type of sites.

I'd go with cardrunners first for 2-3 months as they have 600 videos.
Then stoxpoker as they have around 260.

leggopoker/deucescracked are both great in terms of video quality - but they both have a low quantity of videos ) ~40 for leggo and ~60-70 for deucescracked - of which around half are not NLHE.

I currently have a cardrunners sub and its definately worth the money ( I had won more than the sub + signup cost on the first day ).

I'll be switching to stox in around a month or two.

  Hi
Which is the best site in terms of videos for Sng's? I had a look at the sample vids on a few and the only sng vids I can find, seem to be for $100-200 range. This out of my buy in range at the moment, while they all offer good advice, I don't think it really applies to the levels I'm playing at ($20-50).
Thanks for any help.

I have never used a training site for sngs, as far as im aware www.sngicons.com is your best bet. Though I would say that any $100-200's videos you watch most of the same stuff applies to the lower buyins. Sngs are  close to a solved game and often a move that is correct in a $1000 buyin is also correct in a $1 game.

Hi
Thanks for the link. SNGicons looks good but I'm a bit put off but the $99 sign up fee, I dont mind paying but you don't even get to view sample vids. It's quite a lot to pay up front without knowing what your going to be getting.

Poker X Factor is mainly tourneys, both mtt's and sng's.  Cardrunners is mainly cash, but they have a great selection of tourneys, just not as many as PXF i beleive.  I'm a CR member and don't play cash but they have some great vids for tourneys with all sorts of buy in's.  They've just got westmenloAA on board.

Never really looked at Stox.  Once I signedup, I'm reluctant to fork out more joining fees when I'm sure one site will suffice.   I expect one of the reasons that 2+2 are plugging Stox so much is that one of the 2+2 authors is a part of their team.

If you want MTT/SNG then PokerXfactor and SNGIcons are your best bet.

For cash the current big sites are cardrunners and stoxpoker ( both good ) the new sites leggopoker and deucescracked are both excellent in terms of video quality but are currently lacking quantity.

Parts of the community are involved with different sites, for example the MTT/sng forums will support pokerxfactor and sngicons, the MSNL and HSNL forums will support deuces cracked because thats where the owners/authors come from and the MSNL/SSNL forums will also support leggopoker for the same reasons.

Its the same with Pokertracker 3/ Holdem Manager/PokerEVTracker - all three have support from whichever community their owners came from, you really have to understand the clique nature of the forums and understand whichever forum you're asking for advice from will ineivetably be biased to one or the other.
